We have been receiving teasers for a few weeks, but official info has just released from Blends, regarding their next Vault by Vans collab, once again bringing us their iconic “Bones” jazz stripe, this time on an OG Style 36 LX. A few sneaker blogs who don’t really know their Vans have been calling these Old Skools, but we forgive them, for they do not know! The Style 36 is essentially the father of the Old Skool, before it underwent a change to the toe cap, lace eye row gap, and tongue length. Those are the noticeable features, at least. These are constructed in premium cowhide. Black for the uppers, and white on the jazz stripe. The shoe harkens back to their first and second designs, and we’re definitely not mad at that. These will be releasing this Saturday at all Blends locations, as well as their online store. Be quick, as these sell out almost instantly. Here’s what Blends has to say about these:

This time Blends takes to the Style 36 silhouette, the original Old Skool design. The model comes dressed in premium cowhide uppers accented by a White Bone Jazz-Stripe which sits atop the original Old Skool “Style 36” midsole mold. As before, collaborative branding can be found placed on the shoe’s footbed cushioning.
