Vans OTW – Howell (Fall 2012)

Here’s a first look at the Fall 2012 Howell from Vans OTW.  This is the Pritchard’s mid-top sibling if you haven’t noticed already, and as always, the OTW models do not lack in the looks department.  A simple, clean, calculated shoe.  Materials are always on point as well, case in point, these will be offered in Brown with knit wool and leather uppers, as well as a Black model with leather and tweed uppers.  They also feature cupsoles, for a little more comfort as well as durability, and the “cut” waffle pattern on the soles help these grip your board, since after all they are designed with skaters in mind.  What are your thoughts on these?  Available soon at your local OTW dealer.

Vans OTW x DualForces – Breton Boot (Summer 2012)

We previewed this model awhile back, but now there’s some new photos that have surfaced, of this new style from Vans OTW, called the Breton.  It’s designed after a field boot, typically worn by soldiers and police officers, and this particular model was created by a collaboration effort with advertising agency DualForces.  Known for their past work with the Stussy x Neighborhood “Boneyards” project, as well as the Nike Sportswear “Be True” campaign.  There are tons more, but those are the most notable.  This shoe consists primarily of nubuck suede and durable canvas in an all black colorway.  They also feature Vibram brand soles for the superior quality that they are known for.  There’s also a few small hits of 3M branding on the tongue and side collar.  These should be available in early July at your local OTW dealer.

Vans OTW – Pritchard (Fall 2012)

Words via Highsnobiety:

“Vans OTW continuously produce more progressive footwear styles and the Pritchard is definitely one of them. The shoe takes on sneaker styling with a dress shoe sophistication, constructed from rich leather overlays combined with premium textiles, all based on an EVA midsole and a slim faux-heeled cupsole. Although it’s a Fall 2012 release, the Vans OTW Pritchard is dropping in June, in dapper colorways of a Tweed black/bungee and Canvas bungee/gum.”

Vans OTW – Cobern 2 (Fall 2012)

This Fall, the Cobern 2 replaces the Cobern, in the Vans OTW lineup.  It’s basically the same shoe, but slimmed down, or “deconstructed” as some might call it.  It looks to have been lowered in height, by about a 1/4″, and the foxing stripe has been smoothed and slimmed down as well.  Also, take notice of the heel pull-tab that is now added as well.  These should do well, and will look good while you’re docking in ports all over the world.  You fancy skipper, you!

Vans OTW – Alcon (Fall 2012)

The Alcon is a somewhat new model from Vans OTW.  It’s a deconstructed version of the Alomar, with a slimmed collar, and a slightly longer toe.  Most will hardly tell the difference, but now that you know, you can look like the expert!  There are 2 versions seen here: Wool with premium full-grain leather, and black with heavyweight canvas.  Simple and stylish is what OTW is about.  Just ask Brad Pitt!  These will be out around the beginning of June, along with the rest of the OTW Fall season.
