There’s been quite a few photos going around the internet of multiple new colors for the Vans iPhone4 case, and most assumed they were fake, and rightfully so, due to the price point for one, and well, we know people who know a thing or two about Vans! We knew there were new colors coming for sure, but weren’t sure about which ones, until today. We can now confirm, by way of the Vans webstore, that there are two new color offerings: Black or Pink, with a gum waffle backside. Any other colors out there are just plain old fakes, so don’t support them! Vans OTW x DualForces – Capsule Collection

Vans OTW teams up with DualForces to bring us this awesome capsule collection. Consisting of a Breton Boot High, in an all black colorway, comprised of a mixture of nubuck suede, and ballistic nylon. A t-shirt will be offered, as well as an awesome blacked out MGB V2 “bug-out” bag, which almost all armed forces personnel are instructed to have in case of an emergency mission. The bag is made by S.O. Tech, which provides military spec equipment to our American soldiers. This thing’s legit, and has been given the OTW treatment, by way of an OTW velcro patch. Sick stuff! Expect this collection to start showing up at a few OTW dealers as of July 1st. I’m sure some will be available online as well.

Vans Syndicate x Starter – Snapbacks (Limited Restock @silostore)

This is more of an educational post, rather than a “where to cop” post. Some of you who are new to Vans and Vans Syndicate may not know about some of the rare gems that they put out every now and again. Well, let me take that back. Rare, not so much…but hard to come by now days…yes. The navy and red “New York” version released last year with the Rodney Smith collection, as a nod to the black and white first one that Vans Syndicate put out about 5 or 6 years ago I believe. That’s the one in the picture as well. That hat is a grail of many on OTWS, and can fetch a pretty penny on eBay, if it were to ever show up. I haven’t seen one in over two years, until a few popped up overseas in Singapore recently, and have since sold out as well. Well, yesterday Brant, owner of Silo, posted up that he had the black one available in store, along with the Rodney Smith version, and my mouth just dropped! Some lucky person walked away with one serious collector’s piece right there. Vans Syndicate was one of the first to bring the Starter brand back. Long before snapbacks became all the rage, and definitely before the “S” became a serious contender in the sneaker community. I’ve since learned my lesson, and I swoop up any merchandise or accessories that Vans Syndicate puts out, because no doubt they will become someone else’s grail one day.

Vans – Promo “Authentic” Skateboard (Holiday 2012)

As I was scouring Instagram for new photos to share with you all lately, I came across a photo of Steve Van Doren biting into a skateboard with a sick Vans Authentic waffle sole print on the bottom. Promo items like this always get the Vans collector’s jealous. Well, recently I came across a Vans employee’s IG feed, and saw that he was now in possession of this said board. I believe it’s the same board, because he gave a shout out to Mr. Van Doren about it. After reading a few comments, it looks like this will be a Holiday release. Sit tight, and please don’t ask me when and where to get one, because I’m in the same boat as all of you! If any new info arises, we’ll be sure to share it. Just enjoy these pics for now.

Vans – Authentic Cork Bi-Fold Wallet

This new bi-fold wallet from Vans is pretty dope. Constructed with cork (and I assume a base material as well), and featuring minimal red branding labels, this is another one of those quirky items that may just become successful, similar to what happened to the Vans iPhone4 case. Vans – iPhone 4 Case “2.0” (Review)

So by now most of you who are our normal followers have had a chance to purchase your Vans iPhone 4 cases that have recently been restocked. This is one of the best phone cases out there at the moment, and is definitely the most unique. Some of you may have noticed the slight change to the new version of the case, most notably the camera ring is now black to absorb any reflection from the camera flash. This should appease all of you iPhotographers. The other subtle, but noticeable difference is the color of the gum colored waffle sole. It appears to be slightly darker, but only marginal. It’s still the same ol’ case as the original! Oh, and I also forgot to mention that they relabeled the packaging as well to say iPhone 4 and 4S. Here’s a shot of the new case for all of you still on the fence.
