We’ve all came across pics of these chairs online, at some time or another, but most may not know what they are, or how to get them. Originally released in 2006, by Coarse Toys of Germany, which is now based in Hong Kong, this chair models the Sk8-Hi they used on their Pain edition of their popular Flake character. Well, a seller from Germany has posted one up for sale, and from the pics, he may be sitting on a few of them. Here’s the kicker…they’re listed at $2500 obo + $150 shipping. You’ve got to be either a super die-hard Vans fanatic, or a fan with a little bit of extra money to spare. I’d love to own one of these, but at least someone will have a chance to own it. I just wanted to share the pics with you, and document one of the cool, rare Vans related items in the world.

Stitch lifestyle store and glassware brand Fire-King Heritage, have teamed up with Vans to create these awesome stackable mugs. Popular in the 1940s in America, the brand is now produced in Japan, catering to the vintage collector market, under the “Heritage” label. Known for their everyday use, the durability and quality of their dishes and mugs make them highly collectable, and these are every bit as identical as the originals, except for their country of origin, which is now Japan. Stitch decided to go with the vintage Vans skate logos from older 60s and 70s shoe boxes, which make for an awesome overall retro theme, and if you have friends in Japan, or know how to read their Rakuten store, then you can place pre-orders for these until Friday. Order me one, if you can! I’ll pay you for your services, lol!

Releasing as a surprise QUICKSTRIKE, the new OTWS “Bones” Snapback will be offered in a burgundy colorway as well, that we do have in stock, and is ready for shipment. This one is limited to 24 pieces. 12 will be released today, and 12 more in the future sometime. Don’t sleep, because once they’re gone, they’re gone!

OFFTHEWALLSITE is proud to present our OTWS “Bones” snapback, which is our very first hat, of hopefully many more to come! The design comes from a doodle scratch I sign on many of my packing slips, similar to some graffiti tagging you might see in your own barrio. I came to the homie LazyWORK (Dennis Padua), and asked him if he could take my style, and turn it into a bones font, to represent our favorite Vans Syndicate collabo sneakers. Once D finalized the artwork, we then sat on it until we felt it was the right time to move forward with production. We discovered that fellow sneaker enthusiast Arvie G., owner of Sntmntl Co., manufactured hats, so we decided to do it now, and enlisted his services to produce our inaugural hat design. (This is a relief, as we are still awaiting our OTWS x Curro “Dragon” Pit Crew tees to be made). The end result is a clean, snapback, that represents OTWS to the fullest. The back arch features our name “OFFTHEWALLSITE”, just in case they didn’t already know!
Constructed in a black wool material, with green underbill. The hat is manufactured by the same company that makes Starter snapbacks, as well as a lot of your favorite boutique brands out these days. Fitment is a little bit roomier than your typical snap or camp cap, and I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 5/8, and I only had to back it out 3 dots. You know what I’m sayin’?
The hat will drop at 12pm noon tomorrow, 2/8/13, for PRE-ORDER, and will end on Friday 2/15/13. Why pre-order? Because most of the first batch went to my guys on the OTWS forum who were able to purchase them today, and they’re pretty much sold out. I didn’t want to give you guys any false expectations by not being up front! The hats will ship out in 2-3 weeks hopefully, unless something comes up. I will keep you posted on here.

Not quite as cool as last year’s waffle sole edition, but if you want to rep Vans to the fullest with your fancy new iPhone, then cop yourself this awesome protective flexible rubber case. The world famous Vans iPhone4 case has released in the remaining colors of the CMYK collection. Yellow and Cyan can now join the Magenta, and Black colors in the lineup. Still featuring the same gum waffle sole, so if you bought your case from anywhere but an authorized Vans dealer, and your waffle grip is another color besides gum, then it’s fake! Check out this awesome Authentic Cruiser Board designed by Vans and Santa Cruz skateboards. Cut from the profile of a Vans Authentic sneaker, with the respective top and bottom print on each side of the deck. It’s such a simple design, but damn it’s so dope! It’s even got a signature red heel tab on the back edge! Word first got around about this board, on Instagram, and there was a lot of speculation as to whether it was going to be strictly for promotional use, or if it was going to be an actual item for sale, and I’m here to deliver the good news that this is definitely a production item, and in fact a few are showing up around local Vans stores here in SoCal! They’re only available as a complete, and the price is a pretty penny, at $129.99 + tax, but take into consideration that this is a Santa Cruz board, with OJ III Hot Juice Orange 60mm 78a wheels, and KRUX 8″ trucks, and that it’s not just some cheap generic item. I won’t tell you where I got mine at, but put in some work and you’ll find yours as well! Good luck, and happy hunting!

SoCal Syndicate dealer UNIV just got in their latest Vans Syndicate release, the Chukka Low “S” ballistic pack. Constructed in ballistic mesh on the side panels, and premium nubuck leather throughout the rest of the shoe. Each pair sits on top of the same white sole, with black serrated foxing stripe that we saw on the last Syndicate Chukka Low series. They are available in Black or Port Wine colorways, and they’ve also gotten in a few of the highly sought after Syndicate Old Skool backpack. Oh, and I’m sure if you purchase either of these, they’ll hook you up with a copy of the ‘These Days” Syndicate zine that they also received.
