Vans Vault and Ludwig Van clothing brand, have gotten together on this really cool, and unique collaboration project. Dubbed the “Deadstock Canvas Project”, Mike Dytri of Ludwig Van, art directed this project, with the focal point on some rare, early 90s Vans canvas’s that he had been sitting on for awhile, that were sourced through an auction. He wanted to do something great with these, so he got in touch with some people he knew, who knew some people, who knew some people, and the project came to life. There will be 290 pairs total, in the classic Era style, as well as a D-Ring belt for this project, and the releases will be scaled back to only a few Vault dealers, mainly because of the amount of material they have to work with.
