Vans Skate x Alltimers – Sk8-Mid Pro Collection (11.30.19)

“For the upcoming holiday season, Vans is teaming up with Alltimers for a capsule collection featuring two custom Sk8-Mid Pro LTDs and a selection of apparel and accessories. Inspired by Alltimers’ favorite vintage Looney Tunes sweater, the brands created a quirky blue dragon and party dog character to decorate the entire collection.

Available in yellow and blue colorways, the Sk8-Mid Pro LTD sneakers sport checkerboard jacquard panels, asymmetrical designs and embroidered depictions of the dog mascot on each inner ankle. A translucent side stripe informs the medial sides, creating the illusion that the shoe’s pattern is viewed through Alltimers’ martini glass logo. The plain canvas panels on the lateral side of each shoe are embroidered with the endearing dragon character. Staying true to Vans’ quality craftsmanship, the shoes feature UltraCush HD sockliners, vulcanized rubber outsoles and premium suede overlays.

The apparel selection draws from, and unites, the various characters, logos and prints found throughout the collection. A lightweight jacquard sweater and white T-shirt feature both cartoon characters, Alltimers’ martini glass and Vans’ signature checkerboard print in a playful design. A custom beanie sports the dog and dragon character on either side, while a translucent patch adorns the cuff.
