“Vans proudly unveils the fall ‘16 men and women’s All Weather MTE footwear and apparel collection, built to endure Mother Nature’s harshest weather conditions from the mountains to the streets. The fall ‘16 Vans All Weather MTE collection offers an upgraded series of classic Vans footwear and apparel silhouettes that employ weather-resistant technology and construction while staying true to Vans’ timeless aesthetic.

Designed for the elements, the fall ‘16 All Weather MTE collection presents outerwear pieces that mirror Vans’ MTE footwear innovation. Coated with durable water repellant (DWR), these progressive jackets will keep you warm and dry during the cold and wet winter seasons. The men’s apparel assortment offers a wide selection of jackets including the 66th Parallel MTE, the Kilroy MTE and the Junipero MTE. The 66th Parallel MTE jacket – a quilt puffer with a lightweight PrimaLoft® down blend – provides increased warmth, breathability and water resistance. Paying homage to the bomber trend, the Kilroy MTE is a hooded bomber with a quilted lining, perfect for crisp, frigid days. The Junipero MTE is traditional fisherman’s jacket, adapted for the elements with a breathable back ventilation slit to emphasize the definition of classic style with reliable function.

For the first time, the Vans All Weather MTE collection extends into the women’s apparel line. Women’s styles include the Off Key Parka MTE and Fuego Parka MTE built with a longer fit and DWR coating with maximum protection for moist climates. Another women’s favorite includes the Diggit MTE jacket, designed with a quilted high neck, blending warmth with fashion.

Rounding out the apparel offering, Vans returns with a robust selection of All Weather MTE footwear from Vans Classics available in enhanced models of iconic Vans silhouettes including the Sk8-Hi MTE, Sk8-Hi 46 MTE, and the Old Skool MTE. The collection features premium Scotchgard®-treated leather and suede uppers, warm linings, and a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole to help keep feet warm and dry. A Vans constructed lug outsole takes advantage of over 20 years of snow boot history, infusing timeless style and modern technology into footwear that embraces the cold seasons.

The Vans All Weather MTE collection was put to the test and shot in a variety of cold and wet environments around the globe including Europe, Asia and North America. Vans provided iPhone 6s to Vans friends and family as they embarked on an international journey through the seasons. Each photographer was equipped with the Vans All Weather MTE line to document their adventures. The result is a striking collage of scenic adventures highlighting the All Weather MTE collection through the lens of renowned lifestyle and action sports photographers including Chad Chomlack, Chad Huff, Charles Lanceplaine, James North, Jay Meador, Jeff Han, Matt Georges, Nolan Hall and Pete Williams.

The Vans All Weather MTE footwear and apparel collection launches globally on September 21. To learn more about the Vans All Weather MTE collection, visit Vans.com/AllWeather.”
