Hypebeast

Vans Vault drops another solid release for Fall/Winter 2010, this time coming in the form of its Velocita low top. Sporting a suede upper, the sneakers are outfitted with a perforated upper and contrast detailing throughout. Clean and simple, this release marks the continuation of what has been arguably one of Vault’s best years to date. Look for both colorways now through select accounts, including Berkeley’s Bows & Arrows, in-store and through phone order.

kind of upset they took TH's name off of this silhouette. I'm personally not the biggest fan of Vans taking the designers name off of the shoe. Luke Meier's Zero Lo is gonna be a GR and now they are taking credit for the Velocita. (not really taking credit but "using" a shoe that someone else worked hella hard on0. I'm sure TH and Luke gave them permission and all that but I would like to see TH's name on the shoe he created and same for Luke. thats my opinion on the matter.
PS: and they are charging the same price as the OG Taka Hayshi Velocitas. $120

grey suedes look very nice and yes I would love to see the Taka labels especially if the price is the same. Using the model again kinda kills the unique factor of Taka's work as well as other desingers but these do look nice.

Yeah, credit is due, even though it seems to be a slimmed down/modified 106. Taka is responsible fir the design, look, and shape, definitely one of his cleanest, and definitely his most practical shoe to date, I'll be calling B&A on Friday after I get PAID! If you're planning on buying buy at least .5 size up! These are narrow!

I second that. My blaik pair of Velocita's were a 11. Black toes material.
These are real dope. Brown ones are a must!

The leather was also very firm, not the softest, it didn't bend or give very much. Suede might be more forgiving. I just saw the pictures on the blog. There's a lot more perforation than I expected. Ive never been a fan of that. But well see, I do need some more suede in my life.

^^^ Cosign that I love the grays. They remind me of the 106 lx drop earlier this year

Just got the grey ones, great shoe, took the advice on adding a half size and now I see why. A bit tight around the toe-box stitching. They still fit great though, thanks for the heads up! still a couple of sizes on eBay in both CWs, cheap too. Got my pair for $47 shipped. I know these have popped up at the rack but always great to have the box, ya know?
