the next big one is slated for spring of 2013, and its Metallica. its a sk8 hi, and trujillo is supposed to be wearing them in this pic.....

You need to check out @steviecab on Instagram. He posted each metallica band members vans collab shoe. I found out through @offthewallsite on instagram.
I need to pick up all 5 shoes. This will become one of those must have collabs.

I actually think the Half Cabs look pretty decent and generally don't like blacked out shoes. I think the little details really make up the shoe, the clear sole, the engravings on the mid-sole, the tongue tag/half cab tag, the Kill 'em all in the lining.. it certainly makes this Half-Cab more unique than some of the other "Special 20th" Half-Cabs that have come out.

Between these and the full line up on the site's front page, this is by far the sickest band series Vans has done to date. Sure, they're all all-black, but each model brings something real special to the table, by the looks of it. Real sick stuff, this.
