ok soo that was a little misleading lol these are my 2nd pair of hosoi 1's i didnt pay too much attention to the lil pic of the shoe on the box..

but that picture looks waaay different than the shoe lol maybe they let him desgin one and they just decided to do the classic rising sun? any info?

and lets continue in my usual long winded style, whats up with all the different letters after the model? i mean i get like "s" for syndicate or "lx" for luxury or whatever but they all for the most part seem to be the same.. its just kinda confusing lol like i have sk8 hi pro, lx, s, og and these are sl? lol it dont bother me really just one curious if u guys know what the sl stands for and two is there differences in these shoes that iam not seeing? they all seem to be the standard sk8 hi with the drop in pu foot bed, well except for the pro's now have the "dura-cap"...

I always wondered that with my Hosoi 1's as well. Also, when those were released, it was the first time I'd ever had a classic model with a drop-in PU insole... And man, it was like heaven sliding my foot into those the first time! It was like wrapping my foot in a pillow... haha They're still just uber comfy, even compared to all the lx, pro, yadayada models I have... Maybe even the most comfortable of all the Hosoi releases, although each one has their differences. I'm definitely glad that they continued with Hosoi, and later on, Grosso collabs, since they preceded the pro models and still seemed to be even more comfortable for whatever reason.

But yeah, I always figured the image on the box was just something that was re-used from some other release. I feel like I've got a few other pairs like that, too.
