Music City is right... not even really the facilities to make this happen in the USA for one release... not to mention the pricepoint would be closer to the Diemme pack. Im exaggerating, but you get the point.
regarding the other color way, it coooould be a Japan exclusive and we wouldnt necessarily know about it, as that is not included in USA catalog. I'm speculating only....

From what I recall there are 2 slip ons, 2 sk8-hi's, and 2 chukka boots that are all part of this release.
As for making in the US, the issue has to do with the fact that the sulphur and other stuff put into the air from a vulcanizing oven keeps them from being able to. I also remember hearing that currently there aren't any vulcanizing ovens in the US.

So once again, Highsnob put out some untrue shit! Hehe, that's why on my blog post, I mentioned that it didn't sound right, but it could be possible with the level that W)Taps operates. Music City just dropped some knowledge on us, and it looks like we won't be getting a bespoke Vans system any time soon!
