Yeah, it's not a huge deal for me either, I just can't rep band stuff for bands I'm not into myself. And it's confusing when you meet someone and think they're a fan to find out they have no idea what you're talking about... haha I was dating this girl once and I went over to her place and she was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt... So I got excited and was like "holy crap, you like maiden?" She was like "huh?" haha Guess she stole it from a friend cuz she thought it looked cool. haha Oh well.

Ahh yes, that's exactly what I was expecting when trading for these. Once I received these I was in shock. I wish I knew what made it any different. Prob one of my grails though (the whole collection.... It's Bad Brains). Still wanna get the whole Bad Brains/Supreme/Vans collection. Those came in a regular box. Also, did yours come w. any of this? I could imagine why not.





^The "U" in "Pay To Cum" is really supposed to be missing haha. I'm not too crazy on either of those laces but the dude lost the black ones. Gotta stop by the vans outlet and pick me up a set. Thanks guys. Someone get us some info on the box! I bet Guam knows something.

What did you want to know about the box? The Sk8-Hi's you have were from the Bad Brains series...so it came all decked out with dustbag, 3 pairs of laces, and the drawer box. I believe, only the Chukka was an actual Vault shoe, unless you can verify with a Vault tag on that Sk8-Hi. That's the only pair I never copped at the Rack. I should've, cause they were going for $24.95. I got the Era though, complete with box half, dustbag, and laces/hangtag. I bought the Chukka at Proper at initial release, and I lost the auction a week ago on eBay, for that 11.5 without the box. Damn, winner got em for $65 or something. I had way too much other stuff coming in last week, so I had to chill. I hope I come across another pair in the future. One to rock, one to stock.

I think what we're asking is why there were two different boxes with the sk8-hi release. I never knew there was anything other than the drawer box with all the bells and whistles til I saw this pic:



I know they sold 'em at journeys, so maybe that's how they came if you got 'em there?

Yeah...must've been a GR store box, re-release box, or maybe Vans had left over drawer boxes? I don't have any clue.
