To them it is incredibly convenient to have a friend like me who doesn't mind helping out.
With that said, shout out to BRANDED for copping my Chukkas for me! Thanks homie.
The whole thing is bittersweet. I love the chase too. For example, I tried to get the black cement IIIs; first on eastbay.com, and after that failed, at Proper. Both times I came SO close to getting them and came up short. Now my only chance is to cop at resell price on ebay or a forum. If everyone who wanted to purchase and wear right away got theirs, my chances of getting a DS pair would be slim. So I'm both annoyed and thankful for those for buy to resell (even if it means I have to pay a little more).
If it wasn't so close to the holidays, I'd be hunting down the Sk8 Hi's right now.

...and yeah, this forum is like the rest of them...resell your stuff in the marketplace thread that's been provided for everyone. I deleted that post in question, since he was a newbie, and that was his first post on here. What a way to make an introduction for yourself.
and yeah...Brian, I totally understand you on the reseller tip, cause I am fortunate to buy multiples as well sometimes, and use them for future trades, selling to homies, and what not. You'd think after all these years of sneaker collecting, there'd be an organized, systematic website, or shop, that acts as a match finder. Almost everyone has bought a shoe that wasn't their ideal size, so why not match all them people up? I may be on to something here
. I honestly need to get more into reselling again, because I'm already out of room, both with collector stuff, and with tons of Rack pickups that I've been meaning to throw up on the OTWS webstore, but I get unmotivated when I see the huge stacks of bags and boxes.
Anyways, I think if people have some individual item they're looking to buy, sell, or trade, then they should put that shit in their signature. Sound good? Cool.

the garage had 5 pairs of sk8-his left. I was there at around 2 today though so not sure if they're gone.

I have friends from nsb.org i've know for almost 6 years. One guy i've met several times since i moved to Cali. We keep in touch weekly. He's married with 2 kids and i'm married with 2 dogs. Had to text her a pic but she got them info that possible monday or tuesday. I sent her friend down on monday nothing. Called a buddy who cuts hair and asked if he'd call and see if they were in. Next thing i know he's on his way and i got my double.
As i said try harder don't moan and cry because i don't have any pity. You think someone took pity out on me for the Jordan III's hell no. I found a girl who wears my size at work who collects and bam i get the last release from a few years back for $200.

Yup, and some people get it, and some don't. A lot of these kids these days, and some of you are homies here on OTWS too (no names!), don't put in the effort to get what you want. You solely rely on information outlets like here, and by the time you catch word, it's already too late. You better believe who ever shared that info on here got their pairs first!

if you really wanted these, you would of had them. I waited 3 months and kept on top of my sources. cats only scrambling now because the blogs reposted that they were being released this week. but thats HYPE for you, I remember when HYPEBEAST didnt even exist, do you? cats these days are hand fed and im hungry.
after my auctions end tonight, i might do deals for those still looking.

I honestly didn't think the Eras would be the big hit, but I guess when there's lots of non-collector status Vans buyers (aka Hypebeasts), then the shoe they're familiar with would naturally be the Era.

Haha!!! That's my giant head up towards the front! They were letting people in one at a time and limiting it to one per style.
