Dang. Well, hopefully they start making stuff that we actually want. I used to buy so many Vault releases at full retail, but nothing's been good enough lately. No good collabs, and Taka's stuff is too experimental for my taste, and most others.

Yeah, the sk8-hi zip's are the first pair of Vaults in a while that I've really wanted! I just don't know about that price tag... Normally you'd be able to pick up two pairs of Vaults for that price!

well, i swallowed my pride and copped, they are really dope, lots of little details and the leather is really nice. I can't say I support the high price, shoulda been 110$ IMHO, but I don't pick-up vans too often so it made sense to me... stoked!, i'll post pics soon.

haha Erwin, those are my feet on your post!!! haha, I work right next to Proper in Long Beach and I cruised over there and picked 'em up on friday, then posted those pics on Instagram... honestly, been wearing 'em all weekend, they are too sick. hard to admit they are worth $150 but lets just say I don't regret it at all.

I might just have to suck it up and pay full price... The ones on ebay in my size didn't sit around long, so I guess I better start figuring out what shops have 'em in my size!
