@Guam I charge it to the .5 difference that everyone banked on. The 11-heads were preying on this 10.5 I'm sure. Haha

Ended at $420 + $15 shipping! I can't see them getting much higher than this, can y'all?

Damn someone fucked up, "I will consider ending this auction early for $255 or Best Offer plus the listed shipping...feel free to contact me for details"

But in all actuality, these prices are where these really should be at, considering Supremes are sticking around the $160-$250 mark for the more popular releases. I guess all the high dollar amounts people are willing to pay on sneakers are trickling down to our Vans as well. These $400+ auctions just might be right, if you are using percentages. Wouldn't you say these should be worth twice as much as the Supremes? Like if Supremes were back to their $100-$150 value, then these would be at a reasonable $200-$250 value. Need I remind you: There's only 100 of them. They're a collab with Vault. They're a Sk8-Hi Zip LX. They're wrapped in a nice leather.
THERE'S A FREAKIN' BONE FOR A JAZZ STRIPE! Epic epic epic. These will have timeless value, that should keep them at the head of the collector's list for a long time. Has a Vault x Taka x Pendleton TH Hi ever sold for this much? We know what people are asking for them, but not sure what people are paying for them. This might also ignite a selling frenzy, and people will start listing their pairs up, thus bringing them back down a bit.

(I really need to go find that emoji for this board, hehe).

Right.
@Guam I agree, they're worth twice as much as any Supreme. The problem is that Supreme's are selling for $100 more than they ever should. They're the SAME quality as the shitty Pro Vans sold at the mall. There's no justification for the prices, kids just have no bills in this game so they don't mind spending $150-200 on shoes to up their social status, or "identity". TH pendleton's shouldn't cost as much as the Blends IMO due to the 100-pair factor.

@JesseC: The same goes for every damn shoe out there! When Yeezy 1's first came out, resell prices were $500-$750. I got Zen's for $475 NDS, and Nets for $525 DS. The price hike started with those I believe, and then it started getting into the Ronnie Fieg Asics breaking the $300 and $400 mark steadily, and then NB Concepts "Kennedys" got other NB's hitting the $400+ mark. BRed Banned 1's going for $800 and shit. Galaxy Foamposites for $1000...the list goes on and on and on. And now Vans are feeling that too. Be lucky that most of us have a lot of sick older stuff that others can't get for what we got them for. It's a bubble that's bound to burst for sure, but if you're looking to sell, then right now's definitely a time to be selling.

If the $400 price tag is based on limited numbers than the Civilist Chukka Lows should be ahead of the game at 98 pairs, not to mention being a Germany exclusive and the fact you had to wire the $ to the fucking store. Just sayn..

what about older releases like the solebox with 60 pairs only and being a germany exclusive also (even though none of these had materials as nice as the blends)

I disregard Colletes & Solebox's simply because the materials are simple (just straight canvas). The models are pretty simple other than the limited numbers. The Civilist at least had some quality materials of course that goes without saying being a Syndicate release.
