Well...if you read the Carhartt web page again, it does say "starting" August 24th. Maybe it's like Syndicate releases in the US, with no specific release date.

edit: The homie's gf stopped by the NYC store right now, and they said they don't have them yet, and may be getting them next week. Do I sense a "2008-2010-ish Supreme" attitude here?! Giving people mis-information and crap. When asked how they'll let people know when they get them, they said to just keep checking. How?! By visiting each and every day?! THeir phone don't work. They have a Twitter acct. Why not just use that? Whack.

Because now when you help one guy out, you might just make his pockets bigger, and everyone else gets fucked without lubricant. Who knows if the guy's gonna post on all six social sites he frequents and fuel a full scale camp out. Today, the game is in disarray due to the increase of greed and lack of legitimate, sincere interest/respect in the product

Right on. I fucking hate people that do this. Many in the collector communities are super guilty of buying multiple items of something coveted and sticking it to their "forum friends" as well. No respect from me. There are exceptions to the rule...and Jesse, our situation is one of them. I can see $20-$30 for the sake of saving the time/hassle of picking up a pair but shit gets out of hand with the +100% mark-up.

Sure, I'm probably stupid for not trying to make a buck when the potential is there. But I don't think in the 100+ of shoes I've sold on eBay/forums have I made anything and both sides walk away happy.

Sucks that I'm going to miss out on these bad boys. But there are definitely many other models releasing soon that can cleanse my palette of these
