Yeah, the notchback just does something right. Not sure if it's just that piece of the ankle that lets the shoe flex just a tad bit more, and out of all of them, I'd say the Grosso Sk8-Hi Vert Pro 3's are the most comfortable. The hemp/tweed material allows the shoe to breathe and flex a lot easier, and it makes it lighter. That's what makes a shoe wearable. Not having sweaty feet!. The rubber seems lighter too, which some of you know what I mean. Less dense, or a lighter compound of rubber is probably why it's that way, but I can walk for hours in them, and I'm a fat boy! Most Vans are not fat friendly

So clean. I get a pair of the grey ones and (musterd, butterscotch, poppy dust) whatever that color is called. They are really comfortable, have a pair of hosoi notchback. Does not feel like a sk8 hi at all. All though its a pro but still comfy as hell.
