A different take on your standard 106, Vans has incorporated the Zapata Del Barco toe, and pieced these together with premium suede, or textured leather, depending on the color. A model created by Taka Hayashi, the Priz Laced is back, but in a standard look for the Spring 2011 season. Seen here in 3 colorways, Black/Black, Military Olive/Raven, and Turtledove/Light Gum. Each have different colored metallic eyelets, and waxed round laces. These are going to be a solid release, and the Olive ones got my name written all over them!

As the first round of Vaults are arriving in shops, we are now getting more info on the second half of the Spring season’s releases, and this is the first look we get at the Authentic Decon LX. Seen here in 3 colorways, Black, Dress Blues, and Pewter, all done in premium calfskin leather, with that slimmed down “deconstructed” look that is pretty popular amongst Vans Authentic fans. All feature silver metal eyelets, and color matching foxing stripes. All sit on the same standard white sole. Look for these to arrive at your local Vault dealer in the coming months!

Here’s an interesting Sk8-Hi from the Spring 2011 Vault line. Constructed in a perforated premium leather, and sitting on top of a gum-sole, with a double-wide colormatched foxing stripe. They are also finished off with metal lace eyelets, and waxed round laces. Right now, all we have is the burgundy color, but I’m sure there’s more to come soon. You can expect these to show up at your local Vault dealer in April.

One of the nicest releases from Vault this past year, was the Filson collection, but did you know there was a Slip-On in the works as well, that never made it to production? OTWS members frequent their local Buffalo Exchange’s, and sometimes come across rare samples. Albeit used, but still rare! Do you think this model should’ve released?

Another new Vault release for the Spring/Summer line is the Chukka Boot 69 LX. These are part of the same line as the Era 46 LX’s, but in slightly different shades of colors. Vault information has been steadily flowing in, and the most recent info to release, is for the upcoming Era 46 LX. Seen here in 3 colorways, Insignia Blue, Black, and Red, all constructed with buttery looking tonal-colored nubuck. The tongue, inner lining, and ankle tab are all made using a polished brown leather. The eyelets and laces are the same color as the nubuck, and each shoe sits on top of a white midsole, with black foxing stripe. Such a classy looking shoe. You need these! Due out soon, at your local Vault dealer.
