Vans Vault – Cuerpo LX (available @HotRodLA)

This model sort of flew under the radar with us, but thanks to Hot Rod, we can share some photos of the newly released Cuerpo LX from the Vault team.  Available in 3 colorways, Cream, Monks Robe, and Black, all constructed of fine quality leathers throughout.  Even the foxing stripes are done up with leather and the familiar stitching that accompanies it.  The shape is familiar, but unique, with a leather pull-loop on the heel, and flat waxed tonal laces.  These could’ve easily been a Taka Hayashi release!  Crossing my fingers, he does his variation of the Cuerpo!  These are now available via phone order from Hot Rod, and possibly at your local Vault dealers as well.  Peep each color individually, after the jump!

Vans Vault – Premio Leather Slip-Ons (available now!)

The new Premio Leather pack from Vault is turning out to be a pretty solid release, and DQM has released some better shots of the shoes for all of us to see.  Not new to the calfskin make-up, you may recall the Calfskin Chukka with the $200+ retail price from a few years ago?  Well, the new pack won’t be that much, but the materials are just as nice.  There’s even a message on the back of the Vans leather keychain that is attached to these, that says: “PREMIUM ITALIAN CALF-SKIN.  BREAK ‘EM IN”.  The slip-ons are available in a black leather, on black sole version, as well as a burgundy leather, on a gum sole version, just like the Sk8-Hi’s, and are available now from DQM in NYC, and they do take phone orders, or you can just wait til your local Vault dealer gets theirs.

Vans Vault – Priz Laced LX “Two-Tone” (Fall 2011)

The Priz Laced LX, originally designed by Taka Hayashi, is back for the Fall, in a standard Vault release known as the “Two-Tone” Pack.  We can show you what the Cream Suede/Tan Leather colorway looks like, but there’s going to be a few more colorways as well.  Check out the premium construction, and materials on this pair for now, and tell me these won’t be a hit!  Watch for these to drop at your local Vault dealer soon.

Vans Vault – Penny Loafer LX (Fall 2011)

Here’s a new model from Vans Vault,  the Penny Loafer LX.  A modern take on a classic shoe, with a little bit of Vans heritage mixed in between.  Notice the front end of the shoe got its looks from the “Del Barco” models that are popular right now?  However, the heel and tongue are all new.  This model sits on top of the slim profiled “Lo Pro” sole, which if I’m not mistaken, are only found on girls’ models.  Perhaps this release is intended for the ladies?  Whatever fits your style, I guess!  There’s 5 colorways available which can be seen after the jump.

Vans Vault – Black & White Pack (Fall 2011)

When’s the last time you’ve seen a clean looking all white pair of Vans, done up in premium leathers?  Yeah, me neither!  For the Fall, the Vault team is releasing this “Black & White” pack, consisting of all the classics, the Sk8-Hi, Authentic, Slip-On, and Old Skool.  The Black/White models, are all colorblocked in the common white sole, white stitching, white accent combo, and the White/White models, are “all-white-everything”, except the red heel tab, letting you know that these are Vaults.  The leathers are premium, and are what set these apart from your similar pairs that you may already own.  Time to re-up on your classics, and step-up your style while doing so!  Who else is feeling these?  Coming soon.

Vans Vault x Frank’s Chop Shop – 106 LX & New Era Fitted

Vans Vault has gotten together with Frank’s Chop Shop on these interesting 106 LX’s.  It’s funny how certain releases are kept under wraps, while others are leaked months before release.  A solid collaboration like this, especially with Vans Vault, only comes around so often, so don’t sleep on these!  These are constructed with black on black suede, premium tumbled leather, and all black midsoles, with a red foxing stripe to break up all the black.  Bright red laces with silver eyelets also help to create a nice contrast.  These are now available at Proper in the LBC.  There is also a matching New Era Fitted that is available at ECapCity as well.  Check out the dope grip tape design that was set in the middle of the OTW skateboard!

Vans Vault – Chukka Bardenas LX (Fall 2011)

There’s a ton of new styles from Vans Vault on the way, and we’ve already seen a few of them.  The Chukka Bardenas LX that we see here, is the latest in a growing list of mature, yet modern styles from Vault.  This looks like something that would come from the stylings of Taka Hayashi, but the TH moniker isn’t present, so go figure.  Either way, these are a damn nice Chukka boot, looking slimmed down, sitting on a cupsole with a slightly raised heel.  The color choice is on point as well, going for those autumn colors, with a charcoal, gray, mustard, and turquoise colorway, with accompanying accent colors for each model.  Are these a must cop?

Vans Vault – Sk8-Hi – Standard Issue LX (Fall 2011)

The “standard issue” styles from Vault are one of my favorites.  With a design influence taken directly from vintage military boots, complete with nylon-reinforced side straps, and a few earth tone colorways, this lineup will catch the attention of those looking for that military-inspired look.  Vault also likes to sometimes add a few bright, non-conforming colorways to this series, as a direct contrast to what the styling is aiming for, and maybe perhaps offer something to the Vault buyer who is into the more flashy stuff.  Who knows, but it works!  These will be offered in 3 colorways: Bracken (brown), Black, and Pewter.

Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi – Espadrille TH LX (Fall 2011)

With his tried and true Native American inspired creations, Taka Hayashi has carved out his own little niche market, that has brought much success to his collaboration projects with Vans.  Offering up completely new designs, and not having to abide by any current fashion trends is not something a lot of designers have the luxury to do, especially when people are picky about what they spend their money on.  A niche market is just that, though.  It can’t last forever on the same old stuff every season, and good thing Taka likes to challenge himself, because otherwise we’d all probably be wearing Sk8-hi variants with feathers and dreamcatchers on them, and calling it “Native American”!  All jokes aside, Taka is the master of his craft, and this season is no different.  For this Fall season, Taka has created another new model for Vans, dubbed the Espadrille TH LX.  The TH LX part is a reminder of who created it!  This shoe draws inspiration from the Chukka Boot, a Japanese espadrille sandal, and perhaps a desert boot maybe?  Who knows, but it works pretty well!  They’re constructed with Basque canvas, suede uppers, and a hemp midsole, for a truly authentic look.  Available in 6 colorways: Taupe, Black, Cream, Biarritz, Marseilles, and Montpellier.  These will be showing up around July at your local Vault dealer.
