The Sk8-Hi is one of Vans’ staples, and the Vault team turns classics into gold, like with this “Leather & Flannel” pack. Sourcing premium oiled leathers for the uppers, and premium nubuck for the heel panel, these are available in two colorways: Sudan Brown/Biking Red, and Blue Nights/Friar Brown. For the inner lining, the Vault team chose a flannel material, in a tartan pattern, for that rustic Fall look. Check out the hexagon nut lace eyelets that have been added as well, which tie in to the overall theme of these. These will be available at your local Vault dealer soon.

Vans Vault – 106 Moc LX (Holiday 2011)

One of the newer hybrid models from Vans that has been getting the spotlight lately, is the 106 Moc LX. It seems that these days, anything with a boat-shoe theme is going to garner a nice amount of attention, and these are no different. Available in 3 colorways: Nomad, Black, and Burgundy, each covered in the same suede material, with leather ankle collar, and colormatching square leather laces. Each pair also sports a double-wide tonal foxing stripe, for a unique look. These are looking sharp, and should be out soon, if not now, at your local Vault dealer.

Vans Vault – Chukka Bardenas LX (Holiday 2011)

The Chukka Bardenas LX is back for the Holiday season, from the Vans Vault team. A deconstructed, luxurious, mature version of the Chukka Boot, constructed in fine premium leathers, with a slightly modified sole. These are available in Black, or Coffee, and can be found at your local Vault dealer, like Hot Rod, who currently has these in stock.

Vans Vault – Sk8-Hi Boat LX (available now!)

We previewed these a few months back, and now they’re starting to show up at your local Vault dealers. The Fall edition of the Sk8-Hi Boat LX is available in an all-suede Burgundy/Brown/Tan colorway, as well as an all-navy version in a mixture of tumbled leather and suede. Both feature square leather laces, for that seasonal rustic look. Definitely on point. These are now available at Bows & Arrows in Berkeley.

Vans Vault – Chukka Boot “Shaffers Pack” (Holiday 2011)

This is the 3rd Shaffers Pack from Vault, and this time it’s looking classier than ever. Constructed in a premium oiled pigskin, and suede material, which the suppleness can be seen clearly in the pics. Available in 3 colorways: Dark Purple, Grey, and Black Storm. These are finished off nicely with some round laces. These should be out around the beginning of December.

Vans Vault – Buffalo Boot “Knoll Pack” (Holiday 2011)

The Knoll Pack is back! This is the 3rd collaboration project between Vans Vault and Knoll textile company, and every season they come back with more great colorways and signature materials. This time, we have a preview of the Buffalo Boot, seen here in Dusk, and Grotto. The two models feature perforated suede, combined with Knoll synthetic fabric, and sit on top of off-white midsoles. Both also feature black linings, and round laces, for that finishing touch. These are on my watch list! How about you?

HUF “3ft. High and Rising” – Authentic (samples?)

OTWS member Geek. shared this pic with us, and I wanted to share it with all of you. Not sure if these are an upcoming sample, or a previous scrapped sample, but the white Authentic you see here, wrapped in snakeskin, tells you that these must have been for the popular 3ft. High and Rising capsule collection. The laces also give it away. Not much info here, but if anything pops up, we’ll let you know!

Vans Vault – Vintage Pack (available now!)

Some are calling this the “Ostrich Pack”, and others are calling it the “Vintage Pack”. Whatever you want to call them, they’re just dope. The tumbled leather, and ostrich leather combo is an instant winner, not to mention the vintage Vans inspired colorways. These were first mentioned awhile back, but FreshnessMag dropped some news that these were now starting to show up at Vault dealers worldwide.

Vans Vault – Sk8-Hi “Heel Zipper” (unreleased/sample?)

Being on the other side, the inside, of the sneaker/apparel industry, has it’s benefits, like receiving wear test shoe samples! Check out these awesome Vault Sk8-Hi’s with an incorporated heel zipper. These are either an upcoming release, or an unreleased sample pair, but I came across them while checking out Mike West’s blog over on Hypebeast. He’s the owner and creative director of 686 snowboards if you didn’t know. (I didn’t know either, but I read the headline of his page!). No other info exists of these shoes just yet, but I figured I’d share these with the rest of you. Enjoy!

Vans Vault – Era LX “Flannel Pack” (Fall 2011)

The second model chosen for the Flannel Pack, is the Era LX. Available in the same full-grain leather and wool flannel materials, and Total Eclipse/ Castlerock colorways as the Chukka Standard Issue LX, these are for those who don’t like the fit and feel of the Chukka boot that does take a little bit of getting used to! Vans Vault, once again, tries to make something for everybody, and these should pretty much take care of doing so. Watch for these to be hitting your local Vault dealer very soon!
