Vans Vault presents the Aloha OG Pack for Spring 2013. Consisting of the OG Sk8 Hi and the OG Era, both come in a Maroon Aloha/Dusty Jade Green and Blue Aloha/Sea Pink color combo. For some reason, the two-in-one style is on a lot of designers palette’s these days. What is this, the Phantom of the Opera?! They added the iconic Vans checker pattern to the mid sole for that added vintage Vans vibe. You can cop these now at your local Vault dealer, like Undefeated in Silverlake. The two have teamed up to open a one of a kind in store experience in Blends San Diego solely dedicated to the different lifestyles of Vans, from Classics, California, OTW and Vault. From early Marc Jacobs collaborations to the introduction of now long-standing Vans contributor Taka Hayashi, the line is as impressive as it is deep.

While at Agenda Trade Show, we had the chance to photograph Vans’ own 10 year anniversary retrospective that includes pieces by Billykirk, The Brothers Marshall, Brooks, Filson, Pendleton, Moon Eyes, Robert Williams and more.”

Vans Vault is back at it with some more palm leaf goodness for all of us, this time releasing them in a navy/green colorway, as well as a few other unseen colors as well. Vans Vault – Old Skool OG (Spring 2013)

This is going to be the year that we see a lot of vintage “retros” if you will, from Vans. With the success of the Palm Leafs, and OG Slip-Ons last year, it’s no surprise that Vans is going to ride this wave as long as we keep buying…and buy we will! Similar to what other shoe companies are doing, Vans is digging into their vast catalog of older models, and this Old Skool OG is one of the first to release. Featuring the original shape of the Old Skool, with the same short toe cap, and wide lace rows, allowing for more of the tongue to show. It’s a shape not used very often, mostly reserved for prior Vault releases, or classic packs, and this time we’re blessed to see it in it’s original colorway of marine blue and sunflower yellow. Expect these to drop at your local Vault dealers in the Spring.

Vans Vault – Sk8-Hi Reissue “Palm Leaf Pack” (2013)

Vans Vault is bringing back the Palm Leafs for 2013 in some fresh new colorways. Seen here, are the two Sk8-Hi Reissues in the pack. They chose to utilize the navy palms on white canvas material for both shoes, with classic red or acapulco gold suede making up the rest of the shoe. These take on the classic Vans shape, and also feature the vintage-inspired screen-printed heel tabs. Look for these next year, from your local Vans Vault dealer.

Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi – TH Lace To Toe LX (Spring 2013)

The next Taka Hayashi design to come out of the Vans Vault team, is this new low-top profile, called the TH Lace To Toe LX. Inspired by classic military paratrooper boots, these come wrapped in Horween leather, while sitting on top of a Cristy Vibram sole. A nice tumbled leather accent has been utilized on the heel as well. Look for these to be out in the Spring, via your local Vault dealer.

Vans Vault Italian Made by Diemme Collection Preview

Vans Vault recently released a hiking boot, made by Italian brand Diemme. This time, they’re back with some classics! A sk8-Hi, and a Slip-On are due to come out soon from Vault, each pair hand-made in Italy, of the finest Italian leather. These are a special treat for any Vans fanatic, but beware, these will definitely be prices higher than your most expensive pair of Vans! Will you be copping?
