Vans Syndicate x Tommy Guerrero Decon “S” pack

This release flew under the radar, but here’s the first good pics we’ve seen of the latest Syndicate release. This time, Vans Syndicate has teamed up with the multi-talented Tommy Guerrero. Some may know him from his music, while others may know him as an OG member of the Bones Brigade, the factory team for Powell Peralta. Tommy’s a San Francisco native, with a smooth skate style, and has been featured on many skate videos, such as Future Primitive, Public Domain, and Ban This. Vans has decided to give him two models to work with, the Slip-On Decon “S”, and the Old Skool Decon “S”, both done up in a “deconstructed” minimalist fashion, but don’t write these off as an uninspired, plain black shoe just yet. The leather chosen for these shoes, is one of the softest that has been seen on a pair of Syndicates, and the micro perforations on the leather give it that added touch that you’d expect from a premium line of Vans. These are now available at Silo, and possibly quite soon at your local spot.

Vans Syndicate x WTAPS Sk8 Mid Sherpa (another look)

More pics are available of the Japan-only Syndicate Sk8-Mid Sherpa. You can now get a better look at the leopard print that covers almost the entire shoe, as well as the sherpa lining. These haven’t started popping up on eBay yet, but if they do, someone on the forums will be sure to post it up, in the eBay heads up thread! WTAPS x Vans Syndicate Blackflag & Supreme Exclusive Mountain Boots & SK8-MID

Not to beat a dead horse, or anything, but once again, there is slightly new info regarding the Japan-exclusive Syndicates due out this month. Words via Hypebeast, cause they’ve said it best:

“WTAPS and Vans Syndicate’s 2010 fall/winter collection were previously seen as it included SK8-Mids and Authentics. However two new styles are destined as retailer exclusives with a Mountain Boot and SK8-MID style. The Mountain Boot as the name suggests features hiking sensibilities in two colors while the SK8-MID is seen in leopard skin and sheepskin lining. The SK8-MIDs will be a Blackflag Tokyo exclusive, while the Mountain Boots will be available at Blackflag, Hoods and Supreme. A release is slated for December 11th.”

Vans Syndicate x W)Taps Buffalo Boot and Leopard Sk8-Mid (first look)

A spy shot of this collection surfaced on the forum awhile back, and now we have found a few nicer shots of the Buffalo Boot, thanks to Swish36 on SC forums. Some rumors have been going around, that the W)Taps leopard sk8-mid is a Japan exclusive, but not sure about the Buffalo Boot. Syndicate never fails to deliver on the goods, and these preview shots are a nice glimpse into the future of Syndicate, despite another rumor! Not much info about these, but samples have been shipped to your local “S” dealers, so if you know somebody, then you better ask somebody!

Vans Syndicate x Luke Meier Zero Lo Navy (Supreme Exclusive)

So yesterday was quite a madhouse over at Supreme LA, and I was one of the fortunate few who was able to walk away with a pair of these Navy Zero Lo’s. One of the employees had even mentioned that their store only received about 20 pairs of these to sell, so if anyone was hoping to come down there a day later, expecting to pick up a pair, then you will be disappointed. Sizes were extremely limited, and there were no 11.5s so I had to get a 12, just like a lot of the newer Syndicate releases. To tell you the truth, this shoe looks identical to the black pair, if you are standing about 15 feet away. It’s only when you’re in direct sunlight, or standing next to a black pair, that you may notice the subtle difference. Maybe that will make a lot of you happier now, if you didn’t get yours. The only Supreme branding was on the insole, which was already rubbing off, when I took them out of the box for the first look. I guess the gold printing didn’t cure properly, because my other Syndicate Zero Lo’s aren’t producing this same problem. Once you wear these, most likely all the gold printing will be on your socks, and you’ll have blank insoles. The Zero Lo is a classic, timeless shoe, and the navy colorway is a great touch, but for a Supreme release, this shoe may go unnoticed, compared to all of their other Vans. Not necessarily a bad thing! Enjoy the pics.

Syndicate x W)Taps Sk8-mid (up close!)

I know, I know. We’ve beaten this release to death already, but I promise you this will be the last post for the W)Taps x Syndicate collection. Sometimes it takes a few detailed macro shots for people to get a better idea of something, and being that we don’t get a lot of exclusive content (yet!), we have to approach things from a different perspective. There’s nothing better than clear pics for shoes. I hate seeing for sale threads, and personal listings, where the pics are horribly out of focus, and don’t capture any details. A quick lesson for you noobs out there…see that little flower icon on your camera? It allows your camera to take detailed pics up close (like anything 1 ft. and closer). USE IT! Anyways, there should be nobody on the fence about these shoes, but for those of you who thought about passing these up, perhaps these pics will change your mind. I’ve decided to lace them up in the black laces, but either color is nice for sure, it just depends on the look you’re going for with them. Tons of more pics are available after the jump.

Syndicate x W)Taps Japan-only (rumored) pack

Right now, there isn’t much info to go off of, but some new pics have surfaced on the internet, of two Vans models, from the Syndicate line, which are obviously another W)Taps collaboration. They’ve opted for the Sk8-mid as one of their choices, covered mostly in a leopard fur material, combined with black suede, and a sherpa lining. The other model, is a hybrid, of a Buffalo Boot and Mountain Edition shoe minus the strap, made up primarily of a polished leather on the outside, and a premium leather lining. These are rumored to be a Japan only release, which makes for an exciting release for any U.S. W)Taps fans. Good luck hunting these down!

Syndicate x W)Taps Sk8-Mid now available at Silo Store!

Our good friends, over at Silo, have just received the highly anticipated Syndicate x W)Taps collection, and will be available for purchase in store today. Shown here are the Sk8-Mid’s, in the two black and blue colorways. These have got to be the best pictures out there right now, and those who may have been on the fence will know for sure now, if this is a must cop. I think I know the answer to that!
