The Syndicate exhibition that took place at Civilist in Berlin, looked to be a great turnout, with a debut for the upcoming W)Taps burgundy bones pack, as well as the Civilist collaboration Chukka Low. A lot of good releases from Vans Syndicate have been popping up lately, and this morning we’ve learned that the ever so popular Bones pack is back! Returning from Syndicate and W)Taps, in a new burgundy colorway, are 3 similar models we’ve seen before: the Chukka, Sk8-Hi, and Era. Done up in the same suede and embroidered crossbones as the 005 and 006 releases. What is different, is the W)Taps tongue label, but there is no info available to confirm if this will make it to the actual production pairs. Every true Vans collector has at least one Bones shoe in their collection, and most of us diehards have a few complete sets, whether it be the 003 Black/Whites, the 005 Navys, or the 006 Blacks. W)Taps are a staple in the Syndicate realm, and with their most popular “bones” design back for 2011, these will do quite well I assume. More info to come later!

It’s great to see Syndicate doing collaborations with local shops as of lately. The next shop in line, just so happens to be a shop that is previewing the upcoming Syndicate lines in a few days, in Germany. Civilist is lucky to be added to the esteemed list of collaborations with the Syndicate team, with these magnificent looking Chukka Lows. Constructed in a black premium leather, with suede side panels, along with a wider black foxing stripe that was used on the previous Syndicate Chukka Low release. Civilist branding is placed right center on the tongue, and the release is accompanied with a few accessories as well. Also, check out the dope dust bag! Vans Syndicate and Civilist in Berlin are getting together on this exclusive event on 7/7/2011, to preview the Vans Syndicate 017, 018, and 019 collections, which almost never happens for Syndicate releases. This is a very cool treat for you Vans heads in Germany! There will also be free beer and vodka, from Berliner and Parliament, so if you’re in town, stop by.

Syndicate apparel is rarely dropped, and when it does, it disappears quicker than a jury member on the Casey Anthony trial! (I know, that’s just mean.) But seriously, the last Syndicate Starter snapback is practically non-existent, and when’s the last time you’ve seen a simple, clean Vans Syndicate tee, with a big “VANS” logo on it, with the signature Mr. Cartoon for Syndicate “S”? It took me awhile to put this info up, but it’s been on our forums for a minute. If you didn’t know where to find this at, then now you know. Hong “Muthafuckn” Kong’s premier skateshop 8FIVE2 has gotten together with Vans Syndicate, to create their very own Versa Mid “S”. Constructed with the same waxed canvas as the initial Versa Mid “S”, but this time, choosing a white leather toecap, and white contrast stitching. 8FIVE2 was surprised to find out that their collaboration would be with Syndicate, which is a pretty damn exclusive club to be a part of, with the likes of only a few brands, such as Supreme, and W)Taps. Hypebeast has an exclusive interview with the owner of 8FIVE2, Brian Siswojo, on this new collaboration. Check it out here, and check out the commercial below, and pics of the kicks as well.

“We’re hosting a release party/Pop Up Shop in a few weeks for Max Schaafs new Vans “Lengends Pack” shoe release. As an added bonus, Vans hooked us up with a remake of Max’s original 4Q Syndicate shoes from 2008.
If you’ve been in a cave the last few years and have no idea what i’m talking about the re-released pack consists of two Mountain Editions and two Era’s that were cosigned by Max himself (fucking sick!).”
The Vans Syndicate website has been updated with new content, and the Rodney Smith pack has been added to the lineup as well. Something we haven’t seen in a few years has also been added, and that’s a new Syndicate snapback from Starter, that’s also part of the mentioned pack. This time, they chose a navy colorway, with a red bill, and the word “NEW YORK” embroidered on the left side, to acknowledge the collaboration. These should be popping up at your local Syndicate dealer soon! Must cop!
And next up, is the Old Skool O.G. “S”! Don’t sleep people. Don’t sleep. Nuff’ said.
