“2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the greatest skate shoe of all time, the Vans Half Cab. In celebration of this occasion and skateboarders’ knack for challenging the status quo and making their voices heard, Vans will be dropping one new and exclusive limited edition 20th Anniversary Half Cab colorway every month throughout the course of the year. Beginning in January, Vans and Supreme take us back to where it all started with a limited edition (20 pairs worldwide!) hand-cut and duct-taped Vans Caballero high top. Each pair individually cut, numbered and signed by Cab himself and available exclusively at select Supreme Stores worldwide while supplies last.”

The shoes will be available Saturday January 28, only at Supreme New York, Supreme Los Angeles, Supreme London and Supreme Tokyo Harajuku. 5 pairs per store.

A few days ago, we previewed the upcoming “Paisley Pack” from Supreme, and today we have some pics of a white colorway that may or may not be on it’s way. What do you think about the blue version of these Supreme Half Cab “Giraffes”? OTWS member rocketgoof stumbled across these over on the SS forums, so thanks for the pics! I’m not sure how I feel about these blue ones, but the other colors are looking pretty good right now! No official info on these as of yet!

Vans x Supreme – Half Cab “Giraffe Print” (Spring/Summer 2012 ???)

The Supreme collabo’s just keep coming. Just after the recent “Paisley”, and “Soupreme” pics leaked, we now have a third release possibly on it’s way from Supreme. This time we’re looking at a Half Cab, in an all-over giraffe print. The materials chosen are a screen printed canvas, in either khaki with brown spots, or dark grey with black spots. Both pairs feature red linings, and black tongues for a unique look, as if the giraffe print wasn’t wild enough. White laces, and vulcanized soles finish these off nicely. There’s no official info out there at this time, but stay tuned as info becomes available. Thanks to wolfstrice09 for finding these pics for us!

Vans x Supreme x Campbell Soup – Authentic (Spring/Summer 2012)

This one is out of left field, but leave it up to the king of collabs, Supreme, to partner up with the Campbell Soup company. I assume there’s going to be an entire collection to go with these interesting Authentics. Maybe there’s more to the collaboration, like maybe this is part of an Andy Warhol collaboration, who designed the famous red and white can. That would make more sense from an artistic standpoint. Who knows. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Vans x Supreme – Sk8-Mid “Paisley Print” (Spring/Summer 2012)

The other model releasing beside the Era, is the Sk8-Mid. Returning from a brief hiatus, last seen as part of the denim pack, in a bleached alternative. This time, it’s done up in a mixture of black suede, and a black/red/yellow paisley print, just like the Era. Completely different from the Era, I predict this model to sit awhile longer on the shelves, but once they’re gone, they will hardly surface, just like the bleached denim pair. What do you think? Are these a definite cop for you?

Thanks to curious OTWS member wolfstrice09, we can show you a sneak peak at the next Supreme release headed our way. He stumbled across these on a Japanese site known for selling samples, and shared the pics with the rest of us. This information is purely speculation, but the photos aren’t. From what we can see, the next Supreme x Vans release is looking to be another wild, yet very original design. Paisley print is by no means original, but the colors chosen, and the particular pattern are. The other minor features include a cream leather lining, and black sockliner. Are these a must cop, or are you going to wait and see what Tyler the Creator thinks first?!

Vans x Supreme – Half-Cab 20th Anniversary (releasing very soon!)

There’s only a few weeks left before the highly anticipated 20th Anniversary Half-Cab is set to release. Choosing the original black sude, with grey “croc-skin” material, Steve Caballero took his original Caballero model and cut it down into the Half Cab style, exactly the same way the Half Cab was originally conceived. He even went as far as to put the duct tape around the ankle, just like he did back in the day. In the pics seen here, you can see Steve Caballero “customizing”, hand-signing, and numbering each of the 20 pairs that will be released at Supreme. These pics were taken inside the Los Angeles location, but there’s no info on whether they will be sold exclusively at this location, or if the shoes will be split up among each of their locations world-wide. If so, then don’t expect to get your hands on these babies! They are set to release sometime mid-January.
