“Vans has linked up with Dakota Roche for a new Vans BMX drop.

Specifically, Vans and Dakota roche have come together for the “For The Search” collection. The new range is notable for its earth-toned, suede spin on the Sk8-Hi Pro and an accessible white suede and canvas Era Pro. Along with the sneakers that serve as the collection’s stars, the “For The Search” line also includes the Authentic Chino Stretch pant, a Torrey jacket, two snapback hats, crew socks and two t-shirt — one normal short sleeve, one long sleeve — designs; Roche’s own artwork is also featured prominently here.”

“My obsession with exploration and adventure has been with me for as long as I can remember, and I am constantly searching for fresh spots to do my thing,” shares Roche via press statement, shedding light on some of the motivations behind today’s collection. “It’s tough on my body, but I’m grateful that I have gear I can trust to get through it all.”

On the heels of Chima Ferguson’s second pro shoe release, Vans keeps the party going with a sophomore collaboration by Sydney-based retailer Supply. Supply’s Chima Pro 2 celebrates the Australian all-terrain killer’s longstanding relationship with the shop and pays homage to its influences in music, skate, and art culture, while pushing Australian heritage and aesthetic forward. The bold take on the Chima Pro 2’s minimalist design stands to make one of the most versatile skate shoes out there even more appealing. Vans Skate x Quasi – Epoch Sport Pro LTD (3.24.18) @silostore

Taking inspiration from the early 90’s style, Quasi Skateboards worked with Vans on this retro Epoch Sport Pro LTD, a model which is based off of the Style 73, and features a rather rare cursive “V” logo that is mostly unknown, unless you’re a die-hard vintage Vans fanatic. Constructed in a combination of leather and suede, and available in white or navy colorways. The pair is limited to only a select few Vans Skate accounts, similar to your prior Defcon or Golf Wang releases. Silo will be getting these, and will be releasing on Saturday!

Here’s the latest Supreme collab to release, featuring this season’s “Skull Pile” graphic print, designed and licensed by Liquid Blue©, for their glow-in-the-dark print made popular by Juicy-J in his “Stay Fly” music video. We’ve seen all the photoshopped pics going around of the Old Skool, but sadly that style didn’t make it to release, and instead we got a Slip-On Pro alongside the Sk8-Hi Pro that we were also anticipating. “Crafted in collaboration with Japanese artist and Vault by Vans designer Taka Hayashi, the Vans Pro Skate ArcAd Powell Peralta x TH collection commemorates a decades-long legacy of innovation in skateboarding, showcasing unforgettable imagery from Powell Peralta’s signature skate deck graphics archive. The capsule breathes life back into memorable illustrations such as the 1985 Future Primitive logo, Bones fonts, and the principal skull and sword graphics for which Powell Peralta is known.

Featuring elevated renditions of the Caballero Pro ArcAd and the Style 138 Pro ArcAd and limited to only 600 pairs worldwide, the capsule pays apropos tribute to the team that forever changed the face of competitive skateboarding in the 80s, the Bones Brigade, celebrating members such as Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Tommy Guerrero and Jesse Martinez.

Vans Skate x Civilist – Coffee & Cigarettes Pack (10.7.17)

Berlin’s Civilist has joined forces with Vans on a limited edition footwear pack titled “Coffee & Cigarettes.” The collaborative offering consists of two Authentic Pro variants alongside one Style 47 DX iteration that was inspired by the Slip-On Velcro model. Conclusively, graphic motifs of coffee beans and cigarette butts are aptly embellished on the insoles of each shoe.

Civilist has this to say about their recent collab:

“Our daily routine when opening up store consists of the usual…clean up mess the kids left the day before, put money in the draw, switch the lights on, and then head over to our coffee spot to grab a freshly brewed COFFEE accompanied by a CIGARETTE.”

Note: The Style 47 DX was an exclusive release only for Civilist, but the rest of the pack will be available at a few other Vans stockists.
