Vans – 20th Anniversary Half Cab – (pics from Agenda!)

We’ve already shown you this release a few times, but here’s some new photos of the upcoming 20th Anniversary Half Cab release, by Vans.  Not sure if every colorway is going to be a Supreme exclusive, or if only the “duct tape” pair will be.  Check out some new pics, taken by Highsnobiety, while at the Agenda tradeshow last week, and also get a closer look at the other colorways, that were inspired and seen on early Thrasher Magazine covers.  That’s pretty much the only new news!

Vans x 510 Skateboarding x Max Schaaf – Legends Pack (Release Party)

Via 510 Skateboarding‘s Facebook page:

“We’re hosting a release party/Pop Up Shop in a few weeks for Max Schaafs new Vans “Lengends Pack” shoe release. As an added bonus, Vans hooked us up with a remake of Max’s original 4Q Syndicate shoes from 2008.
If you’ve been in a cave the last few years and have no idea what i’m talking about the re-released pack consists of two Mountain Editions and two Era’s that were cosigned by Max himself (fucking sick!).”

Vans x Tony Alva – 106 Pro (Summer 2011)

Tony Alva has been collaborating with Vans on his signature Pro models for many years now, and the latest release comes by way of the 106 Pro.  For this season, Tony decided to make a few subtle adjustments to the 106.  He started off by adding a rubber toe cap, for durability.  Next, he decided to go with recycled PET canvases for the main material of the shoe.  He then finished it off with a contrasting color lining for both colorways.  These are available in either Blue with a turquoise lining, or Khaki with a red lining, and both are sitting on top of black midsoles.  One last thing to mention, is that these also come with the newer style removable sockliner, similar to the ones on the general release Zero Lo’s.  These are now available from the Vans webstore.

Vans x Plus Skate Shop – Half Cab Pro

Words via Plus Skateshop:

“Steve Caballero’s Half Cab has been our favorite skate shoe since its inception in 1991 (before that we made our own by cutting down his original high top), so when Vans gave us the go-ahead to customize a shoe, using Stevie’s signature design was an easy decision. Going with a straight-skate colorway and high end skateable materials was our basic idea and true to our background. A flat black full grain nubuck with a suede feel mixed with a durable poly canvas make up the upper materials; further customized with small Plus logo embroidery at upper heel, top 3 eyelet hardware evoking the look of axle nuts, and 2 sets of waxed laces (black and white). Being given this opportunity is quiet an honor, big thanks to Vans, Steve Caballero and our customers for making our little dream come true! Features a flexible vulcanized sole construction, foam padded collar and tongue, high grade removable PU insole, Duracap toe bumper for added reinforcement, and grippy gum rubber outsole with Vans Classic waffle grip tread pattern. Comes with black & white laces.”

Now available for purchase in store, and online at Plus Skateshop for $59.95.

Vans x Fitted Hawaii x Eighty-Four Skate – Era Pro (a closer look!)

Hawaii’s been coming out with some heaters lately, and right off the heels of the In4mation collaboration, comes the Fitted Hawaii x Eighty-Four Skate Era Pro.  Consider yourself lucky if you got a pair, because these definitely took a little bit of work to get…at least until Blue Hawaii Surf helped out the Vans sneakerheads by putting almost a full sized run on their web store.  I just got my pair today, from my friend who lives in Hawaii, who took a trip down the street to the Blue Hawaii Surf Pearlridge store.  Word is, there’s going to be a restock at Fitted, and perhaps this time, they’ll be taking phone orders.  Stay tuned for the latest updates, and meanwhile, enjoy my close-up detailed pics!

Vans Cardiel Chukka 59 Pro, and Era 46 Pro

More recent stuff has shown up at Silo, from the PRO line.  Seen here, are the John Cardiel Chukka 59 Pro, and Era 46 Pro.  The Chukka is done up in pig suede and vegetable tanned leathers.  Peep the leather workboot laces, and the Pro exclusive DURACAP technology.  These also have the removable PU insole.

The other model, the Era 46 Pro, is done up in pig suede overlays, with breathable hemp quarter panels.  The same DURACAP toe-bumper was used, and the same removable PU insole.  These were inspired by the World Series champs, the San Francisco Giants.
