Vans OTW – Ludlow (Fall/Winter 2011)

Vans is introducing a new model from the OTW line, known as the Ludlow.  An oxford style shoe, with a more comfortable sole.  Available in four different colorways, each with different mash-ups of materials, as with most OTW releases.  You can find wool, canvas, oiled suede, or full grain leather, depending on which colorway you go with, but each one has a unique style that should suit just about everyone.  These are starting to show up at your local OTW dealer.

Vans OTW x Dimitri Coste – Larkin

Dimitri Coste is the latest Vans OTW advocate to get a signature model, choosing the Larkin as his model of choice.  He went with a primarily white model, with red-stripe on white wool uppers, white laces, and a white leather toe cap.  They sit on top of an all white cupsole, and feature Dimitri Coste’s name on the removable footbed.  Available soon at your local OTW dealer.

Vans x Primitive – Half Cab & Bedford (first look!)

After a few teaser shots from the guys over at Primitive, we now get a full on look at the Half Cab and OTW Bedford that they have planned for Spring 2012.  Previewed at SLATE, some of the guys on the forum, who have a trained eye for Vans sneakers, knew right off the bat which models Primitive were working with, but now we have validation.  The Half Cab looks nothing like I had imagined, with the cable knit sweater collar and tongue, and metal fabricated Half Cab tag on the side , going for that preppy look, while the Bedford looks clean and on-point with the all over black denim and suede, and matching foxing stripe.  The brown pebbled leather tongue contrasts quite nicely with the mountain boot laces, and the overall look.  These are just samples, so don’t be surprised if the small details go away, but I’m hoping the metal tag on the Half Cabs stay!  What about you?

Vans x Primitive – Bedford (sneak peak!)

We’ve already known that Primitive was doing a double shoe release with Vans in the near future, but so far we’ve only been given teaser shots of the half cab.  Well, we’ve recently learned that the other shoe that they are working on is going to be a Bedford from the OTW line.  Sick!  For this shoe, they decided to go with a black suede, and black denim combo, and one of the most unique features we see, is the denim-wrapped foxing stripe.  Pretty unique, and definitely not seen before.  Thanks to Ron from Primitive, for giving us this teaser shot to share with you all!

OffTheWall.TV: Time and Space – Mr. Cartoon Part 1 (video)

Words via Hypebeast:

“OffTheWall.TV follows Mr. Cartoon on his global “tattoo tour” in the first installment of his Time and Space series. Although he is famous for more mainstream collaborations with the likes of Nike and Toyota, Mr. Cartoon showcases in this video that he still remains most gifted at the art of tattooing. While in Japan, Cartoon discusses the history of body art in the country as well as the cultural taboos associated with the tradition of tattooing – which have long been linked to the Yakuza. Enjoy!”

Vans OTW – Bedford (Fall 2011)

The Bedford from OTW is back for the Fall season, in a range of dope colors, and material makeups.  With materials like bio-wash canvas for the Black/Pewter version, and veggie-tan leather for the Brown/White pair.  The White pair is done up in a combination of nubuck and perforated full grain leather.  The Black pair is the same one from last season, in the same stealth leather and suede.  These can now be found over on the Vans webstore.

Vans OTW – Alomar (Fall 2011)

Vans OTW has just released the new Fall 2011 Alomar.  This is one of my personal favorites from OTW, and these colors are looking proper!  Not to mention the cool names for some of the materials: stealth leather for the Blue Nights colorway; waxy canvas for the Crazy Black; Rock Wool comes in a wool fabric, and oiled suede for the Waxy Black model.  These are also out now on the Vans webstore.
