Vans OTW – Pritchard (Fall 2011)

The Pritchard is becoming the crowd favorite for those that wear the OTW line.  Who says you can’t look a little bit more mature, and not have to drop $150+ on a nice pair of Oxfords?  Showing up in “top 10” lists for fashion blogs, and making a big statement in the past year, the Pritchard is definitely here to stay.  For the Fall season, it returns in a wide range of colors, and materials.  The Khaki, and Navy pair are constructed in hairy suede.  The Steel Grey colorway is done up in waxed canvas, and the Black/Gum pair comes in an oiled suede makeup.  Once again, something for everyone!  These are available on the Vans webstore as well as a few of your local Vans retailers.

The OTW Larkin Decon: All Colorways for Spring 2011

Words via the Vans store:

“The Larkin takes a modern design approach to the clean-looking cap toe style that is a direct tie back to vans heritage. Focused on sophisticated simplicity, we?ve upgraded and modernized this design with premium materials, detail stitching, and less padding for a slimmer silhouette. This season we deconstructed the Larkin, removing all padding to refine the styling.”  Some colors are available on the Vans store online already.

Vans OTW – Cobern Boot (Fall 2011)

Highsnobiety says it best:

“The Vans OTW Collection has been quite the success so far. Offering a more casual take on sneakers that have their roots in skateboarding, the Vans sub-line has understood well offering clean silhouettes with premium materials, while not going too high end as well. A smart new take on Vans, yet easy to understand for the sneaker enthusiast.

For Fall 2011 Vans OTW is introducing the Cobern Boot. Taking inspiration from both boat shoes, moccasins and hiking boots, the result is a solid looking low top sneaker with great details. The brown leather upper is complemented with beige and black canvas panels and accented with hiking boot laces.”

Vans OTW – Woessner “Olive” (Fall 2011)

Words via OTW:

“The Woessner takes styling cues from the Classics, like the Authentic, and blends them with modern slimmed down sneakers mostly popularized  on the streets of Europe. The slim, clean-looking vulc wrap, along with molded waffle tread, give a distinct tie back to Vans heritage, while the lightweight EVA midsole keeps the shoe comfortable for all day use. This is the Collector: Bill C. aka DJ Guamstyles

So I guess it’s my turn to be the OTW featured collector!  I want to thank Chris D. for being a strong supporter of OTWS, and our main link to Vans directly.  It definitely helps get our views, and ideas across.  I swear they listen to us over here at OTWS!  I had ranted one day about how if OTW wants to become a major player, they better start listening to the demographic they want to cater to, and sure enough, there’s been some major hits coming out lately, from their division, but anyways, back to me (which I am sort of uncomfortable with, hehe).  I just wanted to give a small glimpse of what my collection is like.  Honestly, I took forever taking pics, and it was because my garage belongs on hoarders.  I didn’t want to take any “collection” pics with a bunch of other random crap in it, but I think I did alright in the end.  Sorry for lagging, Chris!  Peep the OTW microsite for my interview, and a few pics!

This is the Collector: Tom T. aka Samcolt12

The next collector feature is up on OTW, and this time we get to learn a little bit about our good friend Tom, aka Samcolt12.  We all know him from his Youtube video reviews, and his endless amount of cops, and we get to take a glimpse into his collection…wait, I mean just his VANS collection.  That’s right!  Tom has a library of Vans, most worn, and others waiting to be worn, that will make any Vans enthusiast drool.  Anyways, check out his feature over on the OTW microsite!
