Vans has now jumped on board with their collaboration with TRON: Legacy, in the form of a Sk8-Hi themed after the movie. The high top comes in a black canvas/aqua leather colorway with a TRON tag placed on the tongue, Disney tag inside the tongue, and various TRON futuristic touches throughout the shoe. The sneaker will release December 2010 at ABC-Mart in Japan, so yes, these are Japan only release!

The other day we posted up info about the next Deluxe collaboration, involving a unique variation of the Zapato Del Barco, and today we’ve found new detailed photos of the release, via HighSnobiety. These are creating a little buzz, and I think they will do quite well in the Spring, when they release.

Just after we brought to you the release information on the Deluxe x Vans Chukka collaboration, new information has surfaced about the next project scheduled for Spring 2011, between Deluxe and Vans Japan. This time, they will be going with a Zapato Del Barco, constructed in premium quality leathers, and sitting on top of a cupsole. Never seen that combo before, from Vans, but needless to say, the Japanese division of Vans has always been geared towards fashion, and creating some interesting pieces along the way. One of our earliest posts on our OTWS blog was for the Deluxe Chukka Boot. Well, months after, and there’s finally a release date set for November 13th at Deluxe. Don’t get your hopes up though, because these are a Japan only release! The white toe cap on this croc skin covered Chukka is what makes it indistinguishable. The customized “Deluxe” branded tongue label, and red heel stripe also add to it’s uniqueness. Is this something you would cop, if it was available here in the states?

Right now, there isn’t much info to go off of, but some new pics have surfaced on the internet, of two Vans models, from the Syndicate line, which are obviously another W)Taps collaboration. They’ve opted for the Sk8-mid as one of their choices, covered mostly in a leopard fur material, combined with black suede, and a sherpa lining. The other model, is a hybrid, of a Buffalo Boot and Mountain Edition shoe minus the strap, made up primarily of a polished leather on the outside, and a premium leather lining. These are rumored to be a Japan only release, which makes for an exciting release for any U.S. W)Taps fans. Good luck hunting these down!

Vans Japan has just released these Vans Era’s in two leopard fur colorways, which are part of the Vans Japan Holiday 2010 Collection. Not much info on these, other than that they are now available from ABC-Mart.

Releasing out of Vans Japan, the Era gets done up in madras for this season. Utilizing the Indian-originated fabric, several colorways are combined with canvas paneling. A total of three different colors are available including purple/yellow, blue/red and yellow/pink. These are a Japanese release, but a few Vans accounts in Asia will also carry the Madras Era.

Halloween is just around the corner, and Vans Japan has released two shoes for the upcoming holiday. A Sk8-Hi, and a V204. Both are constructed in a black suede, with silver snake scale patterned material on the side panels. The central focus of the theme is the jack-o-lantern on the tongue of each shoe. One other unique feature is the stuffed ankle collar, done in a sweater fabric. These are a Japan only release, and are available at ABC Mart.

New from Vans Japan, is this ultra smooth suede pack, made up of the classic Chukka boot, and the Authentic, but with the more classy looking sidewall found on some newer releases, like the Vault Chukka buckleback, which includes stitching around the foxing stripe. These are available in black and a dark red, for the Authentics, and in a khaki, or dark blue suede, for the Chukka boot. These are now available for purchase from Flauge in Japan.
