Vans Japan has gotten together with Japanese designer Alexander Lee Chang once again, to create this interesting Chukka Boot.  With a primarily black and white checkerboard canvas, and black patent leather on the outside panels, these sort of give off that “rockabilly” attitude.  Throw on a leather jacket, and a chain wallet, and hop into your Toyota Corolla…err, I mean your 194o Mercury Coupe!  (Fashion tip:  your car must match your attitude/lifestyle).  The sidewalls are white with black graphics, and there is a black toecap as well, which gives it a nice contrast.  These are finished off with “ALC” branding embroidered on the tongue.  These are a Japanese exclusive, so hit up your Japanese friends who may be able to source these for you!

Stussy has gotten together with Vans once again, to create this interesting Sk8-Hi that you see here.  Created using a combo of black suede for the upper, and leather for the ankle, with an eye-catching zebra print on the inner lining.  There is also a pink and black foxing stripe, that adds a lot of pop to the shoe.  Finishing it off will be a few random Stussy branding tags on the tongue, and side of the shoe, as well as a printed logo on the sidewall.  These appear to be a Japan only release, just by the shape of the Sk8-Hi, and also being that the last collabo with Stussy, was also a Japan exclusive.  If more info comes around, we will share it with you all.

Early last year, we shared some pics and info on this Zapato Del Barco designed by Deluxe and Vans.  Well, they’re starting to show up at retailers overseas, like ARK, but as for a North American release, nothing has shown up yet at retailers like Haven in Canada, but they should be receiving these soon, so watch the site for a release!  Don’t expect these to be cheap either!  With a Japanese-Yen price of 10,500, which equates to $128 roughly, who knows what the retail over here will be!

Both brand logos can be found on the in-sole of the two sneakers. Look out for a release June 2011 in Japan.”

Some new pics have released on the XLARGE website, of their Vans Era that is due to release at 8PM, or 20:00 Japan time, which is 4AM here.  I wish I was able to purchase these, but I can’t read Japanese, and I’m not even sure if the XLARGE site will ship overseas.  There are also pics of the L.A. Vans and Italian premium fabrics brand Limonta, have teamed up for this interesting new project, apparently named the Luxury Collection.  The first thing we all need to know, is that this is being released in the Japan market only, with no info on a US/worldwide release.  The two styles, the V3101 LX MLT high top and the V3091 LX MLT, are completely opposite of the rest of the Vans family, and perhaps this is why they are exclusive to the overseas market.  Different tastes for different parts of the world.  These are constructed with Limonta premium fabrics on the uppers, and the inside is lined with a very premium looking leather, with a Limonta tag sewn to inside of the ankle.  These are available currently, at ABC-Mart
