Seen here are 3 new Slip-Ons from the Vans “Guata Stripe” pack. Available in 3 colorways, all reminiscent of a textile pattern found on latin-native garments. Not much info is available at the moment, but these should be available soon, from your local Vans dealers.

Two new additions have popped up, for the Fall 2010 collection. This time around, we see more from the Gum Pack, in 2 popular models, the Old Skool, and the Mountain Edition. The blue or black suede, with white contrast stitching flows together quite nicely, on top of a gum sole with black foxing stripe. Both are available now on the Vans Webstore.

With so many Eras to choose from these days, most being either plain single color models, or wild over-the-top models, it’s nice to see a more subtle design like these. Paying attention to the materials, you will notice the use of ripstop grid-patterned nylon, along with contrasting suede panels, in a smooth gray or black colorway. It’s safe to say that during these times, not many companies can pull off wild and crazy colors like you see here, but Vans is definitely the exception. The retro colors seen here, definitely can spark up some nostalgia for you, if you grew up somewhere in the late 70s, to early 80s.
