Vans x Max Schaaf – Sk8-Mid Vert Pro (available now!)

Missed out on the Utility Board Supply collaboration with Max Schaaf?  You can still own a piece of the Max Schaaf collection, by way of the general released version of the Sk8-Mid Vert Pro you see here.  Constructed of black suede uppers, and waxed canvas with a deleted wave stripe on the sides.  These fit right in with his motorcycle-wear inspired creations.  They are finished off with waxed laces, and white midsoles.  There are no shots of the bottoms, so we can’t confirm if these have the reversed tread, like the UBS exclusives (edit: after using the 360 view on the Vans site, we can see that the bottoms are the normal waffle design, which is good news for those that have the UBS versions!).  Finally, these can be purchased now on the Vans webstore for $65.00, or at Utility Board Supply’s online shop for the same.

Vans Classic – Mid-Skool “Summer of ’77” Pack (Fall 2011)

The Mid-Skool is one of the cleanest styles from Vans in my opinion, and this “Summer of’77” pack pays tribute to the O.G. colorways, and blocking that was used back in the day.  Similar to the last “Off The Wall” pack, these Mid-Skool 77s have a slightly different toe-cap, and wave stripe, than most Mid-Skools.  This time around, they went with a Tawny Port Red/Pewter colorway, as well as a Black/Limoges Blue one.  Available for purchase now, from the Vans webstore for $60.

Vans x Pearl Jam – Sk8-Hi Pack

The 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam’s iconic album Ten is coming up, and Vans pays tribute to them with their very own Sk8-Hi pack.  Two pairs have been created for the occasion, one done up in a black suede and wool plaid combo, and the other in a vibrant green and yellow suede.  Both have the band name embroidered on the heel.  No info on a release just yet, but these are a must have for any Pearl Jam fan!

Vans – Zapato Del Barco (Fall 2011)

One of the more popular color combos for the Zapato Del Barco is back for the Fall, in the canvas/plaid mockup.  This time, available in a black, grey, and navy canvas colorway, with slightly contrasting leather uppers, and classy plaid lining.  The last season was a hit, and these will most likely follow suit.

Vans x Spitfire – TNT 5 (now available!)

Spitfire and Vans have teamed up again this season, to bring to you their next collaborative effort.  One of the models they used for this seasons lineup, was the TNT 5.  They decided to go with a black suede material, with orange suede accents on the wave stripe, as well as the inner lining.  The usual Spitfire logo is embroidered on the heel, and a Spitfire brand label was put in place of the standard Vans tag.  These are finished off with an orange lace eyelet for the top one.  Cop the entire collection now on the Vans webstore !

Vans x Tony Alva – 106 Pro (Summer 2011)

Tony Alva has been collaborating with Vans on his signature Pro models for many years now, and the latest release comes by way of the 106 Pro.  For this season, Tony decided to make a few subtle adjustments to the 106.  He started off by adding a rubber toe cap, for durability.  Next, he decided to go with recycled PET canvases for the main material of the shoe.  He then finished it off with a contrasting color lining for both colorways.  These are available in either Blue with a turquoise lining, or Khaki with a red lining, and both are sitting on top of black midsoles.  One last thing to mention, is that these also come with the newer style removable sockliner, similar to the ones on the general release Zero Lo’s.  These are now available from the Vans webstore.
