Vans x Iggy Pop – 106 Vulcanized Tribute

To celebrate it’s 45 years, Vans is offering a premium version of their 106 Vulcanized model in a special collaboration project with rock artist Iggy Pop. An all black colorway was chosen, in premium leather, with the rarely used LVEVL or “Dr. Marten” sole, and an embossed tongue, with Iggy Pop’s logo. For the inner lining, he chose a black denim material, and finished the shoes off with some classy waxed round laces. Who says all black everything has to be boring? If the collaborative parties don’t get you to buy these, then maybe the materials and attention to details will. Available in January at your local Vans dealer.

Vans Classic – Madero (Spring 2012)

Vans Classic – Slip-On “Sherpa” (Holiday 2011)

Vans Core – Era Pro (Holiday 2011)

The Era Pro is one of the most popular, premium models sold at your local Vans store. Incorporating technology first used in the Syndicate, and Vault lines, like the padded PU sockliner, and also incorporating some of their own tweaks, like the Duracap toe bumper reinforcement. The shoe is back for the Holiday season, in 5 new colorways and material combos: the Navy/Gum features Tuff suede and canvas, the Black/Black pair gets SuperTuff Suede and nylon. The Pewter/Black/Green pair gets an all-suede makeup. Chima Ferguson gets his own signature pairs this season, and they come in Red/Black, with suede and nubuck, and STV Navy in canvas and leather. Wow, so much to offer, there’s gotta be something for everyone! I want the Chima Ferguson Red/Black pair!
