“Following 2015′s “Year of the Sheep” Collection and its monochrome color palette, Vans is back to unveil 2016′s vibrant Chinese New Year three-pack. For the forthcoming Year of the Monkey, the sneakers have been designed along the theme of ‘Monkey Rules’ and draw inspiration from China’s commemorative stamps of 1980, 1992 and 2004. The result is a Sk8-Hi Reissue with a tonal red suede upper, black liner and white sole, a pink Sk8-Hi slim with yellow accents, and a multicolored suede Half-Cab, all with premium materials. “It might be winter, but it’s 90º somewhere, and Vans is gearing up for warmer weather. They have release a new Late Night Pack with a very spring feel. The pack consists of various Authentics and Slip Ons with printed photos of desserts and food. Vans has the whole food pyramid covered with macaroons, pizza, french fries, and donuts. A couple standouts from this pack are the Sk8 Hi and Slip On with stylized cheeseburger graphics and classic checkerboard pattern. The graphics remind us of the ultra limited Cobra Snake x Colette Era from a few years back.”

Check out this brand new general release leather polka dot Old Skool.  Reminiscent of an older Hiroshi Fujiwara Tier 0 release from Nike a long time ago.  Available in a white with black polka dots version, as well as an opposing version in black with white polka dots.  These are available in unisex sizing, meaning only up to a Men’s 9.5.

Vans continues it’s wildly successful collaboration with Disney, “Young At Heart”.  There’s some new characters and movies being introduced this time around, one of the designs being a retro of an original Made In USA version of the 101 Dalmatians Red Authentic.  Alice In Wonderland is another one of the moives being featured here, and there are a few different silhouettes and patterns, but the most eye-catching one is the Cheshire Cat Era.  Be careful not to stare into the shoe for too long, or you may just start having a seizure!  I kid.  How about I just let the pics do the talking, thanks to Hypebeast?
