Known as much for his creativity on four wheels and a wooden deck as he is with two wheels and American iron, veteran skateboarder and motorcycle builder Max Schaaf is no stranger to the Vans Syndicate family. With his first Syndicate project dating back in 2009, Schaaf’s influential persona is defined once again in the Mountain Edition 4Q “S”, a premium, heavy-duty mid-top, available worldwide this Saturday, October 17, marking the fourth release in celebration of Vans Syndicate’s 10th Anniversary.

Schaaf’s rugged aesthetic is emphasized in this reimagined silhouette, boasting military-grade leathers, enhanced design details inspired specifically by skateboarding, bikes and Schaaf’s hometown of Oakland, CA. The timeless style comes in an all-black, full grain leather construction.

“We are back with another collaborative project with Vans. The Sneakersnstuff x Vans ”London Pack” is our second Vault release with Vans and this time we decided to work on two classic silhouettes – the Old Skool LX and the SK8-Hi LX.

Since we opened up our store in Shoreditch we’ve had a bunch of near death experiences. Why you might think? Well, they do drive their cars on the ”wrong” side of the road! One thing we’ve learned is to look both right and left before walking over the street. You can’t be safe enough!

Both the Sneakersnstuff x Vans Old Skool LX ”London” and the Sneakersnstuff x Vans SK8-Hi LX ”London” are made in highland suede with a screen printed ”Look Left, Look Right” checkerboard pattern. Scotchgard™ Protector by 3M will keep you dry while walking the streets of London and both shoes comes with three sets of laces. The yellow and red accent colors comes from the single/double yellow lines and red routes on the roads in London.

For our first release we designed a skate deck that was given away to friends and family. Of course we will release a deck this time as well and we will release a few of them on our website on the release day.

The Sneakersnstuff x Vans ”London Pack” will be released in very limited numbers October 17th as part of the Vans Vault program. This is a Sneakersnstuff worldwide exlcusive that will be available at all Sneakersnstuff locations and online at Sneakersnstuff.com.”

Veteran skateboarder and motorcycle builder Max Schaaf — known as much for his creativity on four wheels and a wooden deck as he is for his custom bikes — first teamed up with Vans Syndicate back in 2009 and now, to celebrate the imprint’s 10-year anniversary, he’s back with a brand new creation: the Mountain Edition 4Q. A premium, heavy duty mid-top, the Schaaf collab takes cues from his hometown of Oakland and comes decked out in military-grade leathers with heat-resistant Warrior suede lining, debossed logos, custom tank art on the sock liners and an all-black aesthetic. Finally, finishing touches include Ultracush HD footbeds and Vans’ signature waffle gum sole.

As the third installment honoring the 10th anniversary of Syndicate, this Saturday, October 3rd, Vans releases the Sk8-Hi Reissue NYC “S” inspired by the east coast skateboarding legend. Touted as one of the original pioneers of New York skateboarding in the 1970s and 1980s, Kessler is remembered for his dedicated community work in building public skateparks, inspiring locals and skateboarders from all walks of life to be a part of the emerging New York skate scene.

Vault by Vans has teamed up with high end retailer Steven Alan, to bring to us two releases, an OG Sk8-Hi LX and an OG Style 36 LX.  Each pair has a combination of black premium full-grain leather, suede, and deep navy corduroy from Italian experts, Duca Visconti di Modrone for a completely original design.  Sometimes simplicity goes a long way, and these exemplify that in every way.  Steven Alan even went so far, as to create a custom box for their collection, and us collectors really appreciate the small details like that.

Vans continues it’s wildly successful collaboration with Disney, “Young At Heart”.  There’s some new characters and movies being introduced this time around, one of the designs being a retro of an original Made In USA version of the 101 Dalmatians Red Authentic.  Alice In Wonderland is another one of the moives being featured here, and there are a few different silhouettes and patterns, but the most eye-catching one is the Cheshire Cat Era.  Be careful not to stare into the shoe for too long, or you may just start having a seizure!  I kid.  How about I just let the pics do the talking, thanks to Hypebeast?
