Vans has once again done the unthinkable.  They’ve somehow managed to round up all of the most iconic horror film franchises, to create an amazing collection right on time for Halloween and the month of October.  This is a wild pack, and is sure to have all of you horror fanatics going out of your mind.  Here’s the line-up of movies that are represented here:  Friday the 13th, The Lost Boys, IT, The Exorcist, A Nightmare On Elm Street, The Shining, Gremlins, and Beetlejuice.  The last two on that list, are available by way of the Vans Customs program, but this collection is large, and includes a ton of shoes to pick from, as well as some apparel pieces.  Everything is available now on the Vans site.

Vans x Offspring – Anaheim Factory Era 95 DX (Available Now!)

Beautifully crafted by using the Anaheim Factory collection and designed in London with the community in mind. These Era 95 DX’s feature a decorative upper inspired by floral-geometric tile prints in rich colors. Both colorways feature traditional paisley prints in either blue and cream, or a black/red/green and cream combination, including all the classic detailing you’d expect from the Anaheim Factory editions. Each pair will come with a bespoke porcelain coaster set which showcases the print that celebrates the partnership of Vans and the Offspring Community.

Vans is excited to announce the second release of their footwear collaboration with acclaimed artist and style icon A$AP Rocky as part of his new role as guest Artistic Director of Pacsun. Launching under the A$AP Worldwide moniker, the latest iteration of the exclusive Pacsun/Vans partnership sees fresh custom make-ups of the Classic Slip-On and Classic Slip-On Mule that expand on the A$AP Rocky-designed flame motif from the first release in new, progressive ways.

The Vans Classic Slip-On and Classic Slip-On Mule are reworked in black canvas with the unique flame design A$AP Rocky created for the project embroidered across the side of each shoe in white. The Classic Slip-On sees a subtle yet innovative upgrade with the addition of the storied “Jazz” Sidestripe from one of Rocky’s favorite Vans styles, the Old Skool, while both shoes include a co-branded A$AP Worldwide flame-print footbed and contrast white toe cap, giving the set a distinct ‘90s-era vibe. Each style is finished with pops of red by way of the iconic Vans “Off the Wall” heel plate and Vans toe tab.

The A$AP Worldwide Classic Slip-On and A$AP Worldwide Classic Slip-On Mule will be released via pacsun.com, vans.com plus Pacsun and Vans stores across the United States on September 16. Vault by Vans x Noah – Caballero VLT LX & Authentic One Piece VLT LX (Fall/Winter 2021)

Vault by Vans and Noah have come together for a Fall 2021 release, offering a five-shoe collection with two takes on the Caballero VLT LX and three iterations of the Authentic One Piece VLT LX. Continuing a vintage skateboarding-focused partnership that began in 2018, Vault by Vans and Noah’s latest effort elevates two timeless Vans styles with premium tonal constructions and subtle branding.

First released in 1989, the Caballero was initially created for legendary skateboarder Steve Caballero and made iconic by Caballero’s on-board feats — plus the enterprising skaters who would modify the collar height with scissors and tape. For 2021, Vault by Vans and Noah have dressed Caballero’s signature sneaker up in spruce and black color palettes, both of which feature premium hairy suede uppers, original Caballero dragon branding on the lateral quarter, and a debossed Noah logo on the lateral heel counter. There are also printed logos on the tongue, an UltraCush insole, plus black midsoles with a red rubber stamp on the rear.

One of Vans’ original styles that date back to the Van Doren Rubber Company’s first factory in Anaheim, California, the Authentic is upgraded in this collection and matches its high-cut Caballero counterpart with spruce and black suede colorways of its own but also adds a wheat suede style into the mix. Green and black makeups alike offer black midsoles, while the wheat style flips the script with a brown gum rubber midsole. Each is completed with debossed Noah logos, tongue and UltraCush insole branding, and a red rubber heel stamp.

The Vault by Vans x Noah Caballero VLT LX and Authentic One Piece VLT LX will be released via noahny.com and Noah’s New York store at 195 Mulberry on September 16. Vans Anaheim Factory – Pendleton Pack (Available Now!)

Vans has worked with Pendleton Woolen Mills on a 4-pack of shoes, by way of the Anaheim Factory collection, which pays tribute to Vans’ first factory in Anaheim, California by borrowing details from the original shoe models and offering modernized comfort with upgraded Ortholite® sockliners. This legendary collection also includes throwback details like the original style number, higher glossed foxing tape, and cotton laces.

For this pack, they went with two Sk8-Hi 38 DX’s, and two Authentic 44 DX’s, in either a Beach Boys blue, or Royal Stewart Tartan red plaid pattern.  The Authentics utilize the material on the entire shoe, while the Sk8-Hi’s feature a nice contrasting color for most of the shoe.

The Sk8-Hi 38 DX retails at $115, while the Authentic 44 DX comes in at $95, and are exclusively available on the Vans website.

Vans Launches “Vans World” Skatepark Experience in the Roblox Metaverse

Vans Skate x Hockey – Andrew Allen Authentic Hi (8.18.18)

Everything Andrew Allen does on a skateboard is done with a little more grit than most other skaters can muster. Allen’s skateboarding is raw and rugged, with his give-no-fucks attitude on full display whenever he sets foot on his board. This uncompromising attitude makes Allen a perfect fit at Hockey Skateboards and translates seamlessly onto his Vans x Hockey Authentic Hi.

Allen and Hockey had their first go-around with the Authentic Hi in the spring of 2020, and now the high-top take on Vans’ famed Authentic is back with new colorways and upgraded materials for a better-than-ever skateboarding experience. Available exclusively at Vans Skateboarding retail locations, Allen’s second set of Vans x Hockey Andrew Allen Authentic Hi colorways are designed for skateboarding first and foremost but don’t sacrifice their rebellious style in the pursuit of performance.

Arriving in both a fiery red and a crisp white, the canvas uppers of the Vans x Hockey Andrew Allen Authentic Hi are supported with a rubber ollie pad on the lateral forefoot and an all-new last for better support and feel. Under the upper’s canvas folds and contrast stitching sits a duracap underlay, with an updated shape that adds flexibility and durability while removing excess bulk to eliminate bothersome “hot spots” where heat and friction build-up. This ensures that skaters will have support where they need it the most without compromising on comfort.

Molded heel counters and locked-in tongue straps ensure the wearer’s foot will remain in place and not slide out over the midsole, while Hockey’s signature dog graphic is embroidered on the lateral collar and a classic Vans checkerboard pattern appears on the lateral quarter’s tag. Allen’s name is also stitched inside each collar for a hidden signature touch.

Midsoles and outsoles are packed just as full of tech as their counterparts, with two-part foxing offering a heavier knurl on toe bumpers that are designed to tackle heavy skate sessions. Heel tags also provide a “shatter” print for a nod to one of Hockey’s most famous graphics. Outsoles feature Sick Stick, Vans’ new proprietary gum rubber compound that supplies grip, feel, and longevity. Inside the shoe, PopCush footbeds offer snappy, responsive energy return that won’t pack out, ensuring the shoes — and the wearer’s legs — will stay fresh session after session.

“Aries has reunited with Vans for the second time, coming four years after their limited-edition release in 2017. The collection of footwear and apparel incorporates a wide range of influences, from messages of self-expression and creativity to Americana references and Aries’ signature graphic identity.

 

The footwear in the collection includes two colorways of the Vans Authentic — one arriving in tie dye and tiger stripe, while the other features a multicolor marijuana leaf pattern — and the Sk8-Mid, with two brighter colorways. Rounding out the footwear is the Era and Chukka, both of which feature tie dye designs.

The graphic reference comes from a “customize your own Vans” poster Aries founder Sofia Prantera discovered while working at Slam City Skates. “We wanted the collaboration to follow this accidental recipe; some colours don’t quite match like they have been made of found pieces of material; graphics and logos are incoherent; random apocalyptic stories appear on the soles; while the phrase “go your own way” and “Art Trip” reinforce the message of individuality and rule breaking that is shared by both brands.”

As well as footwear, the collection also features a range of apparel pieces. The clothing, such as hoodies and tees, continues the graphic themes, with tie dye items, and a mixture of Vans’ logo houses with Aries’ signature temple graphic.”
