Vans x Tony Alva – 106 Pro (Summer 2011)

Tony Alva has been collaborating with Vans on his signature Pro models for many years now, and the latest release comes by way of the 106 Pro.  For this season, Tony decided to make a few subtle adjustments to the 106.  He started off by adding a rubber toe cap, for durability.  Next, he decided to go with recycled PET canvases for the main material of the shoe.  He then finished it off with a contrasting color lining for both colorways.  These are available in either Blue with a turquoise lining, or Khaki with a red lining, and both are sitting on top of black midsoles.  One last thing to mention, is that these also come with the newer style removable sockliner, similar to the ones on the general release Zero Lo’s.  These are now available from the Vans webstore.

Vans x Hello Kitty – Authentic “Black & White” (Review!)

The Vans x Hello Kitty collection hasn’t gone public yet, but if you followed the links I posted a few days back, you can order these now!  I ordered this particular pair for my girlfriend, and all of you will be really impressed with this collaboration effort.  All the details were gone over, which is no surprise if you are a Sanrio fan.  Most, if not all Hello Kitty collaborations are very intricately detailed.  Notice the special box for the release, as well as the wax tissue paper, and hangtag.  The inner soles have the branding as well.  This particular colorway, the black with white HK faces, is pretty dope, and if I was a chick, I’d be rocking these all day long, but as a guy, I will be buying the infant versions, because you know…that’s still okay :).

Enjoy the exclusive pics!

Vans x Hello Kitty – Slip-On “Checkerboard” (available now!)

Heads up ladies!  The Slip-On checkerboard pattern has popped up on the Vans webstore, and is now available for purchase.  Once again, I found the link through Google shopping, because the Vans website doesn’t bring up anything when searching for Hello Kitty.  You’re welcome, and be the first to get ’em!

Vans x Hello Kitty – Authentic Lo Pro All-Over Print (available now!)

The last bit of Hello Kitty Vans info I have for the moment, is of the Authentic Lo Pro’s, with the all-over print.  Another girly-girl print, that is probably more popular with the kiddos, but you never know!  Once again, here’s the link to the Womens sizes on the Vans online store.

Vans x Hello Kitty – Authentic Pink (available now!)

Next up, from the Vans x Hello Kitty collaboration, is the pink Authentic.  This is another ladies favorite, and is also up for sale in Womens sizes on the Vans online store.  Cop now!  Kids sizes were also listed as of last night, but the links are dead.  Here’s a little hint, keep checking on Google Shopping for “Hello Kitty Vans”, because there’s evidence that the pages are built, but the links keep changing.  Here’s the link to the Womens sizes on these.  Happy hunting!

Vans x Hello Kitty – Authentic Black/True White (available now!)

Heads up all you ladies who have been dying for this release!  A few models from the Vans x Hello Kitty collaboration are starting to show up at your local Vans retailers.  I even found a link to the actual Vans page, where these are already up for sale, but it can’t be found by searching on the actual Vans site.  You got the drop here first, and don’t hate me if the link changes, because the Sk8-Hi D-Lo has already changed, since last night.  Vans is probably trying to organize their pages, before an official release, but my order has already gone through, for my girl.  You can also find a few models at Nordstrom and Journeys online stores as well.  You’re welcome!

First up, is the Black and True White Authentic.  I’m guessing this will probably be the most popular model from this collection, and the Vans online store is the only place you can find these in Womens sizes as of yet!

Vans Syndicate x Rodney Smith – Old Skool O.G. “S” (available now! @silostore)

Here, we bring to you the other model in the Vans Syndicate x Rodney Smith collection, the Old Skool O.G. “S”.  This other release that we had no idea about, came as a nice surprise, being that the Old Skool is one of the most popular models from Vans Syndicate.  When the first pics dropped yesterday, of this red beauty, I knew I had to hit up Brant from Silo, for some better pictures!  I begged and pleaded for him to get me some good detailed shots, to help you make that final decision if you should cop, after already dropping a few dollars on the recent Supreme release!  I think there’s no question, that you should have these!  Brant also included a few shots of the classified brief, and another nice store display pic.  Enjoy, and these are now available for phone orders from Silo, if your local spot isn’t getting them!

Vans x 430 “BMX Connection Pack II” (Spring 2011)

(Update as of 5/24/11:  This pack has now started showing up at 430 retailers, as well as online on a few Rakuten sites, and yes, they ship to the USA, if you are still lucky to find your size!  Click here for a few overseas sellers!)

At the end of April, we can expect this collaboration project between Vans and Japanese BMX company, 430.  This is 430’s 15th anniversary year, and is Vans’ 45th anniversary, so they wanted to create a special project for the occasion.  Seen here are the two models chosen, the Chukka, and the Era, both covered in black premium suede, sitting on top of white midsoles, with double-black foxing stripes.  The laces, and a few accent pieces are done up in a bright red, and there is a 430 branding tag on the tongue of each shoe.  Also added, is an embroidered brand logo on the heel of the Chukka, as well as on the PU sockliner of each shoe.  These are expected to release at the end of April, at 430 retailers.

Vans x Supreme – Zebra Era S/S 2011 pt.2 (release info)

The highly anticipated Zebra Era from Supreme is also releasing this Thursday, and we now get a look at the two accompanying colorways, olive green, and orange.  It comes as no surprise though, because once we saw the Supreme jackets release a few months back, we knew there had to be more than just the black and white zebra print for these Eras.  Same deal as the Chukkas, these release at Supreme U.S. locations and online on the 26th, and in Japan on the 28th.  Good luck, and how many of you will be copping, so you can be just like Tyler?!
