Vans x 510 Skateboarding x Max Schaaf – Legends Pack (Release Party)

Via 510 Skateboarding‘s Facebook page:

“We’re hosting a release party/Pop Up Shop in a few weeks for Max Schaafs new Vans “Lengends Pack” shoe release. As an added bonus, Vans hooked us up with a remake of Max’s original 4Q Syndicate shoes from 2008.
If you’ve been in a cave the last few years and have no idea what i’m talking about the re-released pack consists of two Mountain Editions and two Era’s that were cosigned by Max himself (fucking sick!).”

Vans x H2O – Sk8-Hi

Melodic Hardcore band H2O, has gotten together with Vans to create this interesting Sk8-Hi, that is due out in July.  The band’s first album cover is printed on the side of the all black shoe, made up of a mixture of suede and canvas.  If you are in Japan, then you are in luck, and can purchase these now from ABC-Mart, but for you US fans, you will have to stay tuned to the H2O webstore, for a release.  Word is, they’re only getting 75 pairs of these to sell!  Not sure, if other spots will release these as well, but don’t say we didn’t warn you that these will definitely be limited.

Vans x Pearl Jam – Sk8-Hi Pack

The 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam’s iconic album Ten is coming up, and Vans pays tribute to them with their very own Sk8-Hi pack.  Two pairs have been created for the occasion, one done up in a black suede and wool plaid combo, and the other in a vibrant green and yellow suede.  Both have the band name embroidered on the heel.  No info on a release just yet, but these are a must have for any Pearl Jam fan!

Vans x Stussy – Sk8-Hi “Hurricane”

Stussy has gotten together with Vans once again, to create this interesting Sk8-Hi that you see here.  Created using a combo of black suede for the upper, and leather for the ankle, with an eye-catching zebra print on the inner lining.  There is also a pink and black foxing stripe, that adds a lot of pop to the shoe.  Finishing it off will be a few random Stussy branding tags on the tongue, and side of the shoe, as well as a printed logo on the sidewall.  These appear to be a Japan only release, just by the shape of the Sk8-Hi, and also being that the last collabo with Stussy, was also a Japan exclusive.  If more info comes around, we will share it with you all.

Vans x Primitive – ??? (More teaser shots!)

Yesterday, Andy and Ron over at Primitive tweeted a few teaser shots of one of their upcoming two Vans collabo’s.  Not much more to say, but we can all speculate on what we think we see.  I see a Half-Cab, what about you guys?

Vans Syndicate x Rodney Smith – Starter Snapback

The Vans Syndicate website has been updated with new content, and the Rodney Smith pack has been added to the lineup as well.  Something we haven’t seen in a few years has also been added, and that’s a new Syndicate snapback from Starter, that’s also part of the mentioned pack.  This time, they chose a navy colorway, with a red bill, and the word “NEW YORK” embroidered on the left side, to acknowledge the collaboration.  These should be popping up at your local Syndicate dealer soon!  Must cop!

Vans Vault x Taka Hayashi – Espadrille TH LX (Fall 2011)

With his tried and true Native American inspired creations, Taka Hayashi has carved out his own little niche market, that has brought much success to his collaboration projects with Vans.  Offering up completely new designs, and not having to abide by any current fashion trends is not something a lot of designers have the luxury to do, especially when people are picky about what they spend their money on.  A niche market is just that, though.  It can’t last forever on the same old stuff every season, and good thing Taka likes to challenge himself, because otherwise we’d all probably be wearing Sk8-hi variants with feathers and dreamcatchers on them, and calling it “Native American”!  All jokes aside, Taka is the master of his craft, and this season is no different.  For this Fall season, Taka has created another new model for Vans, dubbed the Espadrille TH LX.  The TH LX part is a reminder of who created it!  This shoe draws inspiration from the Chukka Boot, a Japanese espadrille sandal, and perhaps a desert boot maybe?  Who knows, but it works pretty well!  They’re constructed with Basque canvas, suede uppers, and a hemp midsole, for a truly authentic look.  Available in 6 colorways: Taupe, Black, Cream, Biarritz, Marseilles, and Montpellier.  These will be showing up around July at your local Vault dealer.

Vans x Spitfire – TNT 5 (now available!)

Spitfire and Vans have teamed up again this season, to bring to you their next collaborative effort.  One of the models they used for this seasons lineup, was the TNT 5.  They decided to go with a black suede material, with orange suede accents on the wave stripe, as well as the inner lining.  The usual Spitfire logo is embroidered on the heel, and a Spitfire brand label was put in place of the standard Vans tag.  These are finished off with an orange lace eyelet for the top one.  Cop the entire collection now on the Vans webstore !
