Vans Syndicate x Civilist – Chukka Low

It’s great to see Syndicate doing collaborations with local shops as of lately.  The next shop in line, just so happens to be a shop that is previewing the upcoming Syndicate lines in a few days, in Germany.  Civilist is lucky to be added to the esteemed list of collaborations with the Syndicate team, with these magnificent looking Chukka Lows.  Constructed in a black premium leather, with suede side panels, along with a wider black foxing stripe that was used on the previous Syndicate Chukka Low release.  Civilist branding is placed right center on the tongue, and the release is accompanied with a few accessories as well.  Also, check out the dope dust bag!  These are going to be exclusive to Civilist in Germany!  More pics after the jump, as well as commercials on the Civilist tumblr page.

Vans x Primitive – Bedford (sneak peak!)

We’ve already known that Primitive was doing a double shoe release with Vans in the near future, but so far we’ve only been given teaser shots of the half cab.  Well, we’ve recently learned that the other shoe that they are working on is going to be a Bedford from the OTW line.  Sick!  For this shoe, they decided to go with a black suede, and black denim combo, and one of the most unique features we see, is the denim-wrapped foxing stripe.  Pretty unique, and definitely not seen before.  Thanks to Ron from Primitive, for giving us this teaser shot to share with you all!

Vans x CULT – Waffle Grips for your bicycle!

Check out these rad BMX hand grips designed after the infamous Vans waffle soles!  Part of the recent collaboration between Vans and BMX company CULT, these babies are offered in four colorways, one of them being gum, to closely represent that familiar color on the bottoms of our favorite shoes!  The other 3 colorways are black, white, and orange, CULT’s signature color.  These can now be found at your local CULT dealer, or directly from CULT’s webstore for $10.99 a set.

Vans Vault x Frank’s Chop Shop – 106 LX & New Era Fitted

Vans Vault has gotten together with Frank’s Chop Shop on these interesting 106 LX’s.  It’s funny how certain releases are kept under wraps, while others are leaked months before release.  A solid collaboration like this, especially with Vans Vault, only comes around so often, so don’t sleep on these!  These are constructed with black on black suede, premium tumbled leather, and all black midsoles, with a red foxing stripe to break up all the black.  Bright red laces with silver eyelets also help to create a nice contrast.  These are now available at Proper in the LBC.  There is also a matching New Era Fitted that is available at ECapCity as well.  Check out the dope grip tape design that was set in the middle of the OTW skateboard!

Vans x CULT – Brasco & Atwood Mid (Fall 2011)

Words via Vans x CULT microsite:

“Simple, clean, and raw was the end goal for this collection. Keeping with the fresh approach that CULT has taken within the BMX industry to deliver silmple and classic looking, raw finished goods with subtle features and benefits that keep them modern; we wanted to apply the same design philosophy to this collaboration.

We’ve chosen two footwear styles that include the performance features needed for riding, but also represent today’s casual styling that work well off the bike. Both shoes are wrapped in high-end black leather and use a waxed textile on accent panels for a rich look and feel. The vulcanized outsole and gum-colored WaffleGrip tread is a direct tie back to Vans heritage, while the sockliner artwork is a CULT original that ties back to the CULT attitude. Both shoes are lined with a 6oz. canvas in hunter orange from the CULT color palette and feature our Megathane midsole to keep both styles comfortable all day long, as well as prevent heel bruising while riding.”

Vans x Holden – Sk8-Hi (Fall/Winter 2011)

words via Highsnobiety:

“Portland, Oregon snowboard-oriented label Holden got together with Vans on a special release Sk8-Hi for Fall/Winter 2011. The sneakers are constructed of premium leather inside and out, with waxed canvas panels and waxed laces. Of note are the subtle structural changes, such as the heel tab and suede rand, alongside various hits of Holden branding. These will release alongside matching Vans x Holden snowboard boots.”

Vans Syndicate x 8FIVE2 – Versa Mid “S”

Hong “Muthafuckn” Kong’s premier skateshop 8FIVE2 has gotten together with Vans Syndicate, to create their very own Versa Mid “S”.  Constructed with the same waxed canvas as the initial Versa Mid “S”, but this time, choosing a white leather toecap, and white contrast stitching.  8FIVE2 was surprised to find out that their collaboration would be with Syndicate, which is a pretty damn exclusive club to be a part of, with the likes of only a few brands, such as Supreme, and W)Taps.  Hypebeast has an exclusive interview with the owner of 8FIVE2, Brian Siswojo, on this new collaboration.  Check it out here, and check out the commercial below, and pics of the kicks as well.

Vans x Max Schaaf – Era Pro (available now!)

Also part of the Max Schaaf pack, are these dope looking Era Pro’s.  Constructed of what looks to be a TUF rubberized material for the entire upper, but for the first time ever, an ollie-pad has been utilized on an Era.  These are definitely unique!  You can expect the same 4Q conditioning branding on the removable sockliner, which I failed to mention on the Sk8-Mid Vert Pro’s, but you can see them in the gallery pics.  Check ’em out if you haven’t already!  If more pics surface, I will be sure to post them up!  These are available now from the Utility Board Supply webstore, and for a limited time, they are throwing in a free 4Q conditioning shirt, with any purchase.  Limited quantities!

Vans x Max Schaaf – Sk8-Mid Vert Pro (available now!)

Missed out on the Utility Board Supply collaboration with Max Schaaf?  You can still own a piece of the Max Schaaf collection, by way of the general released version of the Sk8-Mid Vert Pro you see here.  Constructed of black suede uppers, and waxed canvas with a deleted wave stripe on the sides.  These fit right in with his motorcycle-wear inspired creations.  They are finished off with waxed laces, and white midsoles.  There are no shots of the bottoms, so we can’t confirm if these have the reversed tread, like the UBS exclusives (edit: after using the 360 view on the Vans site, we can see that the bottoms are the normal waffle design, which is good news for those that have the UBS versions!).  Finally, these can be purchased now on the Vans webstore for $65.00, or at Utility Board Supply’s online shop for the same.
