It looks like Levi Maestro’s going to be getting his very own shoe from Vans Vault. He chose to go with the Old Skool Deconstruct. Well, there’s no official information as of yet, or if the shoe in the video is his actual project, but the featured shoe is a deconstructed Old Skool, in tonal navy premium leather and suede, sitting on top of an all-white mid-sole. Well I guess it comes to no surprise that the Burgundy Bones Pack is out now, and quickly flying off shelves. I think “flying” is an understatement, and this release has caused a lot of disappointment but not for those saavy enough to hunt down shops that haven’t been “tapped” out, so to speak! Actually, you don’t have to be saavy, you just have to stick with us here at OTWS. Our forums might not have a lot of members, but we’re dedicated, and motivated. For some, it’s to collect, and for some it’s to support, and of course for some, it’s to resell. A lot of the members have been posting up spots that still have sizes left, and any news of new spots getting them is being posted almost instantaneously. All I know, is that most of our core contributing members had no problems getting their pairs, and I’m stoked that a lot more members have been participating as well. Vans has once again teamed up with Japanese clothing label Beauty & Youth, to create these “leopard print” Slip-Ons. These will turn heads for sure, with their all suede material with leopard print. You can also find the Beauty & Youth branding on the inner lining. These are set to release sometime soon, but only in Japan, or where Beauty & Youth is sold.

The super limited, ultra-premium Vans x DQM “First Issue” capsule collection is now available for purchase on the DQM General Store online shop. The Mid Skool 77 retails for $150. The Era goes for $120, and the Chukka Decon goes for $140, and sizes are starting to disappear, so if this is a must cop, then head on over now and jump on them before you’re SOL! By the way, these are limited to 96 pairs per style, each individually numbered on the tongue.

Vans Vault is teaming up with U.S. based leathermakers BILLYKIRK, on a special collaboration of shoes, and not just any Vans shoes! They were lucky enough to convince Vans Vault to let them use the Taka Hayashi signature TH HI LX, and Derby LX. Using their vast knowledge they’ve gained over the past decade of processing leathers, brothers and BILLYKIRK co-owners, Chris and Kirk Bray, decided to construct the two shoes in a mixture of all types of fine suede, nubuck, leather, and waxed canvas, in two new colors that we haven’t seen before. As more pics and info releases, we will bring it to you as soon as we get it. These are due out at the beginning of December, at your local Vault dealer.

We previewed these awhile back, and the scheduled release date is today, however like most Mastermind products, these are a Japan only release. BUT!!! There is a Rakuten store that works with shops in Japan, to allow us to have a proxy to purchase these. The down side, is that these are listed at $364.21 USD! If you’re a die-hard Mastermind fan, then by all means cop a pair, but sizes are limited. Head on over to TONNEAU and see if they have your size!

So who’s stoked for the upcoming Syndicate x W)TAPS release that is due out in December? Did you know that the Japanese label has created a few pieces for Vans Syndicate, to coincide with their upcoming burgundy crossbones pack? The clothing line consists of a few outerwear pieces, and a few keychains. These are going to be a Japan-exclusive, but don’t worry, at least we get the shoes!
