The first “widely available” 20th Anniversary Half Cab is now available at Silo, in the original colorway butterscotch. These are somewhat limited, and every month a new colorway will release, with the special edition tags that say “Half Cab 20 Years” on the side. These are a solid piece to add to your collection, and Brant can hook you up with these over at Silo!

It looks like Hello Kitty’s back for the 2012 season! I came across these samples while on eBay, and thought some of you’d like to see them. These are all in a kids sz13, so I don’t know if any of these will be available in women sizes as well, but if any new info comes along, I’ll be sure to pass it along, because who doesn’t love Hello Kitty?! If you want to purchase these, then dingosk8store on eBay is selling them.

OTWS doesn’t mess around when it comes to our Vans! Member Jonli, aka lookdown, was generous to snap a few pics of the Half Cab 20th Anniversary edition for us, that he copped for another OTWS member overseas. 1 of 5 pairs here at Supreme Los Angeles, and this is #3! What a stand-up dude! You can also catch an old friend, Carlos, aka Solexlife in his second pic, hehe. You can say hi to him down at Hall Of Fame.
This Half Cab 20th Anniversary collection is turning out to be quite possibly THE release of the year! Via Instagram, Steve Caballero shared some new pics of this capsule collection, and with a little help from our fellow OTWS members, we’ve gathered a little more information for you all. We already know that each month, Vans is releasing a half cab. The first pair (January) is the Supreme-exclusive “duct tape” Black/Grey pair which is limited to 5 pairs per store. The next four (February-May) will be a classic Half Cab model in suede, in their original colorways from the mid to late 80s. Retailing for $60, and available at all Vans locations. The next four, (June-September) will be a Half Cab Pro model, designed by a few familiar artists, such as Dirty Donny, Steve Cab himself, and an OTWS favorite, Taka Hayashi! These pairs will retail for $85 and will also be available at all Vans stores. There’s also word out that there may be a few special releases/collabos dropping some time throughout the year, so stick with us for any and all updates regarding this project, because they’ve now gotten our attention! Here’s another look at the upcoming collaboration between Vans and The Skateboarder Magazine. Choosing to go with the original styles of the Old Skool, and the Mid Skool, in some classic colorways, these should be highly anticipated. Check out the custom branding on the ankle, too! I’m a personal fan of the older style shape with the separate toe cap, seen on the Mid Skool, and the O.G. navy blue/sky blue on the Old Skool is classic! No word on a release just yet, so just enjoy the pics!

In celebration of this occasion and skateboarders’ knack for challenging the status quo and making their voices heard, Vans will be dropping one new and exclusive limited edition 20th Anniversary Half Cab colorway every month throughout the course of the year. Beginning in January, Vans and Supreme take us back to where it all started with a limited edition (20 pairs worldwide!) hand-cut and duct-taped Vans Caballero high top. Each pair individually cut, numbered and signed by Cab himself and available exclusively at select Supreme Stores worldwide while supplies last.”
The shoes will be available Saturday January 28, only at Supreme New York, Supreme Los Angeles, Supreme London and Supreme Tokyo Harajuku. 5 pairs per store.
