During last week’s Agenda trade show, Highsnobiety got to preview the Fall line from Vans California, and there’s definitely some dope stuff coming out of the CA team!  These guys just can’t seem to fail!  Will they come out on top again this year, as the most popular division for our favorite vlucanized shoe company?  This is definitely a great start.

“For Fall/Winter 2013 Vans continues to push their casually cool California collection with a range of easy to wear footwear that’s essentially a more grown up collection of Vans Classics. While not as progressive nor as limited as the Vault series, the CA range is consistently one of our favorites.

In our preview you’ll see “watercolor painting” Authentics with hiking laces, tonal leopard Chukka boots, a mixed pinstripe and bubble camo set of Eras and Slip-ons and more. FW13 also sees a further push on the California apparel line, this season focusing on a Mountain Edition theme with a speckled wool kit.”

Here’s an interesting take on a camo pattern.  Utilizing a floral pattern, Vans California has came up with these two clean looking shoes.  Going with the Chukka, and the Authentic this time, two very well known classics, they’ve updated them with some style, with oiled leather accents, and work boot laces to be exact.  These are now available for purchase from the Vans webstore, by clicking on the pics above.

Here’s the latest winter-themed shoe to come out of the California team.  With a water resistant micro weave textured canvas upper, the Outdoor Era CA will no doubt, be in your rainy day kicks lineup. The California team continues to bring that sensible sophistication to the Vans family.  With everyday wearable colors, and attention to materials and accents, it’s no wonder they do so well.  For the Holiday season, they’re releasing these 106 Vulcanized CA’s in a “water resistant” pack, constructed in a “decon” fashion,  primarily in pig suede, treated with 3M Scotchgard Protector, a particular solution that is vaporized during construction of the shoe which creates a layer resistant to water, alcohol, oil and dirt in general.  You won’t have to worry about these babies when it’s wet outside!  These are now available for purchase by clicking on the pictures above, and after the jump!
