We finally get a sneak peek at the 20th Anniversary Half Cab Pro “Metallica” shoe.  It’s been in the rumor mill for about a month now, and there’s been a little bit of talk on the forums as well, but we finally have some pics of what to expect, thanks to Steve Caballero (@steviecab), himsef!  Good ‘ol Instagram.  He’s out in Atlantic City this weekend for the ORION Music Festival, along with a few other skateboarding legends, to put on a skate demo and signing, and show off these shoes, as well as the 2013 Metallica Band Series Collection.  Stay tuned, as we bring that collection to you next!

Vans x H2O – Sk8-Hi

Melodic Hardcore band H2O, has gotten together with Vans to create this interesting Sk8-Hi, that is due out in July.  The band’s first album cover is printed on the side of the all black shoe, made up of a mixture of suede and canvas.  If you are in Japan, then you are in luck, and can purchase these now from ABC-Mart, but for you US fans, you will have to stay tuned to the H2O webstore, for a release.  Word is, they’re only getting 75 pairs of these to sell!  Not sure, if other spots will release these as well, but don’t say we didn’t warn you that these will definitely be limited.

Vans x Pearl Jam – Sk8-Hi Pack

The 20th anniversary of Pearl Jam’s iconic album Ten is coming up, and Vans pays tribute to them with their very own Sk8-Hi pack.  Two pairs have been created for the occasion, one done up in a black suede and wool plaid combo, and the other in a vibrant green and yellow suede.  Both have the band name embroidered on the heel.  No info on a release just yet, but these are a must have for any Pearl Jam fan!

Vans x Gorilla Biscuit Sk8-Hi and Slip-on

The final production versions of the Gorilla Biscuit Sk8-Hi and Slip-Ons have shown up, and some slight changes have been made since the first pics surfaced back in July, most notably in the shades of the colors.  The original post showed actual pics of the release, but these newer pics look to be touched up, or photoshopped for some reason.  I guess you’ll just have to judge these ones in person.

Vans x Queen Black Denim Authentic

Part of the band series for this season, Vans has collaborated with legendary rock band Queen.  There are a few models that were chosen for this collabo, and first to release is the Authentic.  Done up in black denim, with red contrast stitching, and a leading red lace eyelet, followed by black ones for the rest.  The inner lining is made up of various band posters, and the details don’t stop there.  The lace tips have Queen logos printed on them, and the black/red theme is finished off with a red foxing stripe.  These are now starting to show up at various Vans retailers, such as Primitive.

Vans x Blackdiamondskye Sk8-Hi

The concert tour of BLACKDIAMONDSKYE (featuring Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon) is currently making it’s way across North America, performing in major cities possibly near you.  Arguably one of the most epic line-ups of recent history, Vans has teamed up with BLACKDIAMONDSKYE to commemorate the event by making this Sk8-hi.  With only 150 pairs ever produced, these will be a collector’s dream, not to mention if you are a big fan of band memorabilia.  Three pairs are being raffled off on RevolverMag‘s website, as well as a band t-shirt from all 3 bands.  SneakerFreaker has also been given a few pairs of these Vans as well, and they have their own contest going on here as well.  Good luck on getting these!
