Vans x Sublime – “40oz. To Freedom” Sk8-Hi (Available Now!) 240 pairs! #SublimeVans

TS9EFC-ALT2

This one came out of nowhere for us.  It appears that Vans has created these awesome tribute Sk8-Hi’s to Sublime, featuring their iconic sun artwork from 40oz. To Freedom.  If you act now, you can even order pairs from Sublime’s webstore, which will be hand-signed by Opie Ortiz, the artist who created the album’s artwork.  Someone said these are limited to 300 pairs, and then Sublime’s site says 240 pairs.  Either way, they’re limited as shit, and everyone who has been catching word has been scrambling to their computer to purchase a pair.  Sizes are disappearing as we speak.  Here’s something I rarely do, and that’s provide you with links to purchase.

From Sublime’s webstore.

Vans x The Beatles – Yellow Submarine Collection (March 2013)

Beatles-x-Vans-Collection

Being that Rolling Stone officially dropped the info on these a few days back, I guess we can officially share this info with y’all.  Vans will be releasing a band tribute series for the iconic band The Beatles, featuring artwork from their album and film, Yellow Submarine.  The collection will feature a Sk8-Hi with animated photos of each of the four members, one on each side of the left and right shoe, taken from the film.  The Classic Slip-Ons play off the movie’s Sea of Monsters, showing trippy marine life swimming in an ocean of pink.  The Eras depict all four band members, some wearing rainbow pants, hanging out in a yellow garden, and the final pair, the Authentic, is adorned with a pattern that reads “Allyouneedislove” running over and over again and into itself in purple, yellow and green.  On February 9th, the Beatles will be the subject of a two-hour CBS special that will commemorate their arrival in the United States.  Look for the shoes to be available in March!

It’s finally here!  The October 20th Anniversary Half Cab is finally here!  And it’s finally the Metallica one!!!  We’ve been anxiously waiting for this one to drop, and I’m proud to announce that it’s finally here.  Stevie Cab’s favorite band in the world, has graced him with their very own design on the iconic Half Cab, his signature shoe, and boy, the devil is in the details.  This shoe has it all.  A custom clear sole, imbedded words on the sidewall, a sewn in patch on the lining, and Metallica branding on the outside!  Not to mention, the “Metallicized” Half Cab logo.  Sick!  The best news, is that these are now available for purchase on the Vans website!  Please support OTWS, and purchase these through us, by clicking on the pic above.  Free shipping if you use the code TREAT65.  So freakin’ stoked for these!
