“On display at the recent Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin, Vans recently presented a comprehensive glimpse into its forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Notable amidst the range of Authentic, Era, and Sk8 Hi silhouettes, an amalgam of Hawaiian floral prints and understated Navajo patterns are mocked up in bold chromatic hues and tones. Distressed canvas aesthetics maintain a strong presence while further application of the unique patterns are seen across a range of snapback hats and backpacks. Affirming its ability to blend modern prints and timeless silhouettes, the Vans Fall/Winter 2012 range will be offered later this year through select stockists worldwide.”

I admit, we don’t post up that much information about Vans Girls product, but I do when I feel that it’s something worth sharing. No doubt, the Hello Kitty collaboration was the best girls release of the past year. HK fans are just as much of a hype beast as us sneakerheads, and when these two worlds collided, well, it was history in the making. Well, we are glad to share that the Hello Kitty x Vans collection will be back this year, and this time, they are focusing on apparel. We have a few teaser shots of a few new items, recently previewed at the Agenda trade show in the LBC, thanks to Highsnobiety. Seen here is a backpack with Hello Kitty’s face and a “3D” bow, and a few teasers of a few tees. Stay tuned for more info!

“After releasing the “Art of Lettering” with Mister Cartoon earlier this fall, we teamed up with our Parisian OTW Advocate, Dimitri Coste, for a new book project that captures the photographer and filmmaker’s passion for vintage motorcycle racing. Shot at the magnificent Catalina Grand Prix, the West Coast’s most historical motorcycle race, the lookbook photos follow Dimitri around the island as he competes in his first international race. Our film crew was on hand for the event as well, documenting Coste’s race preparation and domination.”

To coincide with the recent Syndicate release, the Japanese label W)Taps have created these interesting pieces of clothing, exclusively for the Japanese market. You can see a mixture of outerwear, as well as a few bleached denim pieces, and thermal under-layer garments. A few of these pieces were shown awhile back by us, but I will repost them along with the newly released pics. Thanks to the homie Brant for the pics and info!

Thanks to the homie @Chuck_Vans, because he also sent over a pic of the tee that has been given out to employees, which has an awesome ugly sweater themed graphic. You gotta love that holiday humor! Thanks Chuck!
So who’s stoked for the upcoming Syndicate x W)TAPS release that is due out in December? Did you know that the Japanese label has created a few pieces for Vans Syndicate, to coincide with their upcoming burgundy crossbones pack? The clothing line consists of a few outerwear pieces, and a few keychains. These are going to be a Japan-exclusive, but don’t worry, at least we get the shoes!
